does that mean people should stop ordering more phones off APPLE?

Nabatron 09-23-2012 12:16 AM

If you want one thats unlocked go through Apple but if you want one for your self just call around and it won't be hard to find one. I broke my torch and Bestbuy was my first stop since it was close to my buddies place and like I said they had tons.

Harvey Specter 09-23-2012 12:27 AM

I wouldn't order any phones from apple.ca for flipping purposes, the window to flip these phones for a decent profit has passed.

^^^ probably still worthwhile if going overseas.

The reservation system and locked iphones have made this launch really easy for me to get a hold of one, even with the people flipping them.

You'll find better deals on CL for new and sealed unlocked phones if you want to sell overseas.

Ulic Qel-Droma 09-23-2012 02:50 AM

the unlocked market will always be in demand until iphone comes out in china. you just need to find the people shipping back to china.

100% of my customers have been mainlanders/hongers.

a lot of low ball brown guys, like seriously. 900 for 32gig. lol. 800 for a 16gig.

DanHibiki 09-23-2012 03:11 AM

Some guy offered me $4500 for 5 32gb and 1 16gb. :rukidding::facepalm:

asian_XL 09-23-2012 05:30 AM

Anyone experience slow down or battery drains after installing ios6 on your iPhone 4 or ipad 2?

dave123 09-23-2012 10:05 AM

anyone do a hardware upgrade from rogers??? so i spoke to retentions last week twice to get my contract all set up (i'm switching from a berry plan) and both times they told me early upgrade fee was $80. i reserved a phone from futureshop and went there Friday, when they pulled up my account upgrade fee was $260..wtf!?!?! so had to call rogers again and they said early upgrade fees were calculated wrong last week by their computer system and he said it should actually be $200 not $260 but he knocked it down to $150.
Fucking Rogers!!! It's like theyre pulling these numbers out of their ass!!!

Ulic Qel-Droma 09-23-2012 10:34 AM

guys FYI, I JUST sold 11 16gigs at 865 each bulk order.

and sold a single 16gig at 880.

there are buyers, don't submit to low ballers. the original 900 i wanted is hard to get now, but 880 seems to be the price ppl still willing to pay.

DanHibiki 09-23-2012 10:50 AM

Congrats dude!

Did that guy need more?

for now no. he said he'll let me know tomorrow.

twitchyzero 09-23-2012 11:28 AM

surprised people are still able to flip them...i guess apple is too rich to care about people making profit over their phones...creates more hype i guess
i know someone who flipped a shit tons of iphone 4 when it first came out and amassed 5 figures...:rukidding: must've bought out an entire apple store
or hijacked a truckloads worth...F&F style :troll:

jing 09-23-2012 11:38 AM

Opened both of mine toc check if there were any knicks or scratches on them and what do you know, they both look like they're a few months old lulz. Too lazy to try and sell them now plus I doubt anyone will want to buy it anymore given that they're no longer sealed. Meh.

stuff99 09-23-2012 11:49 AM

Is the black version more susceptible to scratches or the white?

StylinRed 09-23-2012 11:55 AM

The black is hands down. In fact quite a few black ones came scratched out of the box.
