Theres an update to iOS for wifi connections. |
I updated this morning so I guess I'll have to wait and see if it actually improves. When I came home from work, 4PM, it was still a little wonky, seems to hold up fine so far. |
Just pick up the ipad mini today. They only have the 64GB version -_- Seems nice so far! I had the ipad3 before but sold it off after 6months or so. The screen is great but it was just too heavy and too big. I have to set it on the desk to use most of the time which I have a laptop so the Ipad3 didn't get much use. So far the ipad mini is doing great. The screen looks decent (I have poor eyesight so I really can't tell the difference......). Is fast enough for what I use and small enough to carry around. I was thinking of getting Nexus7 since it is way cheaper but it just doesn't look as nice as the ipad mini. I am also going back to my iphone. |

I bet the next iPad full size will be inspired by the mini design. Bezel stretched to the sizes and thin. Posted via RS Mobile |

in order to transfer a .mpg video file from your windows computer to your ipad, i assume you need a third party transfer program? if so, can you guys tell me a free safe program that would allow me to do this? thanks! |

When purchasing apps/games for the ipad mini do you guys get the IPAD version or the Iphone version. Seems like the Ipad is mostly the same as the iphone apps expect is more expensive coz of HD. I try some iphone apps on my ipad mini and the graphics looks really bad VS the Ipad version........ |
iPad apps display in the correct resolution on an iPad. They're also formatted to make use of the bigger screen. |
went to Apple store today I noticed another version called "wifi version" or something, a cost of 4xx. What is the difference between that one and the 329$ priced one? some clarity would be appreciated |

screen to edge of the unit for a 7 inch can be held in one hand. however, the larger iPad can not, therefore, screen to edge of unit for large iPad difficult to implement, imo |

gorilla glass 3 is probably on its way to the ipad line up |
Lots of stock at future shop. Best is to reserve one then pick it up |
Looking to pick one up for the rents. Do you guys think a retina version will come out in the Spring or the Fall? If the latter then I'll get it now... |
Got myself a rooCASE eXTREME Hybrid TPU Shell Case http://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B009YMT0E2/ref=oh_details_o00_s00_i00A co-worker have the same type of case for his iphone 5 and it seems pretty good. I was thinking of getting one of those leather case that comes with a bluetooth keyboard but I figure I won't do much typing and those case don't look very good. |

^ the thin edges work on the iPad Mini because many people can one hand the iPad Mini by wrapping their thumb and fingers around the left / right side. With the iPad, I don't think many people can hold it like the iPad Mini. Usually when people one hand the iPad they hold it like reading a magazine, which if the screen go all the way to the edge, it would interfere with the multitouch or be pressing on applications or other on screen button |
Given clever enough software that's an easy task to overcome. |
