i dont have issues with the thin edges at all, and i have both hands wrapped around the sides all the time. That or my thumb and a bit of my palm is on the screen, fingers behind, when i scroll with the finger of the other hand. No issues at all - in fact, some apps let you write on the screen with portions of the palm resting on it. Penultimate does, and i use it all the time that way.

Any rumors when the new one will come out?

Usually after one year.. Next announcement will be on September 10 for the iPhone 5S (as you'd expect) and 5C (a midrange iphone, not sure what the specs will be, but the body will be plastic)

Been waiting for the new one to come out too. The rumors are that it will be announced with the new iPhones in Sept and be released in October.

Lots of conflicting reports whether it's retina or not though.

Maybe not iPads... Just iphone 5S and 5C
