Scammers pretend to be the RCMP and want to verify your money or they claim to be thr CRA and want you to pay back taxes. You also have people claiming if you invest with them they will 10x your money.

That's wild that someone could fall for the idea that the CRA or RCMP would want you to "pay them back" using bitcoin, more so from an ATM machine in a gas station.

Fucking crazy :lol

One of my friends, she's no dummy, but she got caught up in this... thnking it's RCMP on the phone telling her she's in a lot of trouble and shit, she was running around and about to deposit money into one of these machines when she suddenly realized... somehow they just convinced her and she was going along with it... and the timing in her life couldn't have been worse because her husband had recently become bipolar and thought the police were following him all the time so I guess she got caught up in that too... sucks man...

Luckily she smartened up, but damn some of these guys are good. She said it was so real they were such good actors on the phone with her.

Looks like LHR has been defeated. Trex miner mines eth at a low hash rate and then mines a second coin like RVN or ERGO to unlock the rest.

Wealthsimple will be now allowing people to mover there crypto. I think this is pretty big news.

Does anyone use newton for their crypto to bank transfers?

I've been hearing a lot about shakepay.

I'm looking to take some profits also.

I didn't take profits last time and figured I should take some out this time.

Anyone ASIC mining. Since I can't get any GPU's I'm looking at it hard. Compass ming has some uses Bitmain S19's that are hosted in Kentucky for $13900. Doing the math it will take 14 months to break even.

https://compassmining.io/hardware/bitmain/antminer-s19

I also looked at wattum but they have a minimum order of 10.

Price list

Compass mining interests me, I have heard a lot about it. I am curious why people wouldnt just buy their own s19 and do it at home?

a s19 pro is is around the same price and you own it

With Compass you do own the hardware. After your hosting contract is up you and get the miner shipped to you. Noise is another concern. Antminers are load like a vacuum cleaner loud or louder.

Contacted blockware. They sell and host ASIC miners. minimum order 0f 5.

New Bitmain S19j 100TH/s $12,250.00 US December batch

Power cost is 7.3 cents a megawatt including hosting.

so min order is a $61,000usd plus power? and gets you roughly 500th/s for roughly a 360day ROI

Yep at the current price and difficulty. Each machine will make about $1000 a month.

Compass has a 6 pack deal for Antminer S19j Pro 100 TH. First miner deployed in may and you get one every month after till October. Pay $28000 now plus $3200 and hosting fee every time a miner goes online. Works out to $8000 a miner.

Bought an ASIC.

After doing a bunch of research and running the numbers the all the deals worked out about the same. ROI would be the same give or take a month or 2.

So bought the miner cfrom Compass for .25625 that included one months hosting and power. The miner will go online on Nov 1st. Will keep you guys updated

why aren't you guys interested in liquidity mining instead of asic/hardware mining? the concept is the same, but requires much less effort and is obviously the way of the future. unless yall bitcoin maxis?

I don't know much about the space. Need to do more research, but I do know mining pretty well. Are you using Uniswap or pancake?
