yeah.. he "died" in India and he was the only one with the private keys. Though they can see his wallet address and no funds have been taken out, so maybe it's true? |
Wealthsimple just add a bunch of coins for a total of 15 now including Doge. Still no limit trades. Bitmain has stopped selling ASICS yo help the used market in China. I wonder if we will see a bunch of cheap ASICS for sale. |

This is going to make bitcoin soar in the long run ... people who invest or use bitcoin hate institutional control and the big banks. Bitcoin is the AMC of currency. World's central banks launch new campaign against cryptocurrencies https://www.cbc.ca/news/business/bit...ttis-1.6076611 |

i am shutting down my miners for this weekend....................... |
It's going to be even hotter on Monday, forecast says low/mid 40s for some parts |
im running my miners 24/7 in my basement, heatwave shouldnt effect them too much. i have a decent exhaust system and central AC....plus i have a portable AC unit i can put in their mining room, but dont think i will need it. on a side note, what are your guys rigs pushing for mhs/ghs? I just got to 1.4ghs |
My central ac doesn't seem to be working optimally, and the exhaust fan can't keep up, room is 105°f (40.5°c), house is 90+ (32°c+), so I said fk it, and shut it down for the next few days anyway Was waiting on a server room centric portable ac to come in, but it's going to be awhile yet, if the borders were open, I could have it tomorrow :/ |

man...i wish i have basement or a dedicate room with maximum air flow. I don't think portable AC will work for the "mining room" in my case. So far, my rigs produce 3.0ghs (Stable) therefore, shutting them down for a week. i am losing out a lot ... :heckno: Also, thinking of upgrade the electrical panel to have more amps, but so expensive $$$$ and need more space. |

In all due respect, if you're running your mining machines during this heatwave with BC Hydro reporting record-breaking electricity use, you're an asshole. https://www.vancouverisawesome.com/v...ty-use-3911381 |
Those figures would put bc hydros system at 75% capacity. IÂ’d say he is not an asshole. He is having no negative impact on other residents well being. Nursing homes and hospitals are not running out of power. BC gets its power from water flowing through turbines so itÂ’s not like trucks of coal are being burnt to support tegra devils basement mining operation. Record breaking electricity consumption will continue to be a thing with electrification of transportation, population growth. The site c dam coming online with the push to convert oil and gas plants to electric drivers vs natural gas. Just because an article reports record breaking electricity use doesnÂ’t tell the whole story. |
It's not even affecting Hydros electricity sales to the USA so... Hell we're not even a rolling blackout situation |
Looks like GPU prices are dropping. Seen 2 3080's for $1800 from 2 different sellers. Might have bought one if it was local. |
Yeah they've been coming down in prices but sooo slowly |

Maybe go after someone who actually is ruining the world. Yes, I am using more power than a household of my exact size to provide my family with extra income, so I can take them on fun trips, provide them with a lifestyle better than I had growing up. Seriously get fucked, in all due respect. Quote:
