Sorry! Yeah, i paid 2500 after tax. It was the only one available to preorder at that time

Finally got around to giving chia plotting a try (I know I know what a waste of time in the delay)

Using madmax version 7, not sure if I have everything setup ideally, but it's so far taking 31mins a plot (1872.46 seconds)

Not bad I guess

OLD QUESTION!!!!

What are you guys going to do with your GPU, when ETH 2.0 and POS starts ? ETA end of 2021, or beginning of 2022.
Only 5-6 month left.

So far, mining ETH vs RavenCoin, 35% less profit.
ETH vs Conflux, 39% less profit.
Also, whats gonna happen to RavenCoin and Conflux ? Will it shoot up ? or tank ? since majority of miner will start mining these coins.

and GPU is gonna be dirt cheap by then i think.

StylinRed 07-06-2021 09:33 AM

I'm just going to keep mining whatever /shrug
Might be a lull for awhile, might not be, either way

I debated selling the gpus closer to the end of the year, but unless the market is still hot, I probably won't, we'll see how things look by then

most of us probably already recouped the cost of GPUs by then.
At least we are not at losing side.

StylinRed 07-06-2021 09:47 AM

Yep totally, that's why I'd probably just continue mining, unless I can get several months of earnings by reselling the gpus at that time (if earnings r super low)

Warning siabtc.com is a scam exchange. Someone is running a discord pump group giving out signals on what crypto they are going to pump everyday on siabtc.

ime2006 08-04-2021 04:23 PM

EIP 1559 should have already been deployed. Aug 4th 11:55 AM UTC.
But i am seeing abnormal high mining income !?!?!?

I am confused...=_=

Correction:
Just saw the post
5th of August, 2021 at Ethereum block height 12,965,000 at approximately 13:55 CEST.

Bitcoin and eth will be half their value in 3 months

hud 91gt 08-06-2021 09:23 PM

Bitcoin will be back at its high, and everything else will take a dump.

blkgsr 08-07-2021 08:06 AM

shut your dirty mouth

they're going back to the moooonnn

PeanutButter 08-07-2021 08:58 AM

I don't understand how anyone doesn't have at least 5% of their portfolio in crypto.

It's the best returning asset over the last 10 years and people are still not allocating to it.

It seems rather foolish not to.

ime2006 08-07-2021 05:25 PM

I would say BTC and ETH will both go ATH again this year.

If crypto keeps going up and up.
GPU market will still be fked.

1. most people still don't understand it.
2. It's to volatile. People can't handle the swings.
3. It's harder to buy and store then other investments.
4. people think it's a scam.

5. Exchanges shut down when the owners "die" and millions are lost
6. Once you lose your keys on many exchanges, GG
6.1 Many exchanges, once you break your phone, and the 2FA can only be verified by the original phone, your entire account is gone.
7. 0 security, its the wild wild west for getting your coins stolen
8. Transfers sometimes take up to several days to process
9. The majority of coins, are shitcoins, just like the stonk market, theres way more people losing money, than making it

Razor Ramon HG 08-08-2021 10:55 AM

Regular folks can invest via BTCC. Eliminates most of the concerns although volatility will always be around.

Don't keep your coins on an exchange. Being your own bank is one of the things people like but can also be a bit scary.

mikemhg 08-09-2021 11:14 AM

Why would someone use an exchange over themselves?

I guess in case their PC/Phone crashes, it's an external source to access their funds?
