the smart ones cashed out in time....... I hope some followed.... told my friend to cash out in mid january with me but never listened.

SkinnyPupp 04-01-2018 07:47 AM

Remember, people thought they were smart when they "cashed out" when it peaked at $400 for a bit LUL

UnknownJinX 04-01-2018 11:38 AM

Well, it's a long term investment.

Yeah, stuff can moon, but you have to wait for any good returns.

Mr.Money 04-01-2018 10:02 PM

i almost fucked up and bought at 7.4k value....geeessshh.

SkinnyPupp 04-01-2018 11:03 PM

Someone REALLY doesn't want it to go lower than $6500.. Crazy how much it jumped as soon as it hit that point. Just like it did twice in the last week when it got to the same point

Random question but for those who mine crypto and dont mind disclosing how much is your hydro bill per month?

Edit being: renting my condo and suspect my tenant is mining crypto. Says they are not mining, but the hydro bill is almost $10 a day.

Can't wait for bitcoin to collapse so video card prices can come back down to earth. The new and pre-owned video card market is so fucked up. New ones with decent prices go OOS. Can't even touch the ones on craigslist cause they're likely ticking time bombs from being on 24/7. :flamemad:

You pay for your tenants hydro bill?

Actually, you can't mine bitcoin meaningfully with a graphics card anymore(unless you join a pool). That's where ASIC comes in. Other crypto, you can still mine with graphics card.

I understand how frustrating it is for gamers, but I don't play any games on PC, so I don't really care.

And I know some landlords pay for the utilities. Not a weird thing.

If it's 10 dollars a day, that like 30 video cards.
And yes, it's high possibility that your tenant is mining.

that's crazy!! My whole month hydro is not even above $30 and I have my PC on pretty much 24/7(not mining) Yea $10 that's like $600 hydro. My mom's parent's house (2 bedroom) doesn't even use that much for 2 months of hydro. I would have a word with your tenant.

Razor Ramon HG 04-02-2018 12:21 PM

Lol, I really hope he isn't pay for the electricity bill.. I'm not sure how it works, but it sounds like it's going to be pretty messy since the dude has probably thousands invested in either video cards or a grow op.

let's hope is just video card. Grow op is going to be hard to clean up the apartment afterwards without spending ten of thousands of dollars and have the unit reports as a grow op and it value drop by 50% :lawl::yuno:

Manic! 04-02-2018 12:35 PM

How big is the place? You should be able to here the fan noise and feel the extra heat if it is small. You can also give him a 24 hour inspection notice and do an inspection.

Alpine 04-02-2018 02:53 PM

Thanks for the quick replies guys. They pay for utilities so i'm thankful for that but the hydro bill shocked me. It's a small family in a 2 bedroom condo and they prefer i pick up the rent in person (& usually i'm invited into the unit to pick up) so I don't suspect a grow op. They did advise they have some computers running 24/7 when they applied which was fine to me as I have mine running 24/7 but i wasn't expecting these types of #'s.

ime2006 04-02-2018 04:14 PM

Here is my hydro.......this is for 2 month.

And
By just looking at the profit from day trading.
I can make a lot more than mining actually. If I put those mining rig hardware cost into day trading.

lol

Blueboy222 04-02-2018 06:34 PM

Yea, ive been constantly trading on Bitcoin.
It is so predictable......300-400+ profit every week.

imagine if i have all that cost of Mining rigs into my trade...
I would be making 10 times more. :sweetjesus:

That's because no one is building mining rigs anymore. I find it ridiculous on craigslist people still want almost full retail for there used mining rigs.

SkinnyPupp 04-02-2018 11:58 PM

Got to love that BTC transaction fees are super low now.. I just checked and 0.000013 is pretty much instant (that's $0.10 USD).

Looks like they figured that shit out!

ime2006 04-03-2018 12:39 AM

my info says....its sell time.
Wait for next dip. :awwyeah:

but again...its a gamble!!!

Razor Ramon HG 04-03-2018 07:08 PM

Just picked up an EVGA GTX 1070 off someone on Craigslist for $550. Card looked brand new with complete packaging and all the connector protectors intact.

He is also selling an ASUS GTX 1070 Turbo for the same price. Blower style. He still had it when I picked up the EVGA. You can find his ad on Craigslist.
