I’m a hodler but I recently started to day trade with new money. I getting relative success do this but I’m not too sure what to make of this crazy jump the last few days.

is it just me or does everyone in this space suddenly have a phD in crypto

Last year in a span of a few months whenever talking to someone in this space it sounded like everyone either had a massive stack of coins stashed away, had a major deal with some big names somewhere about god knows what, or regularly talked about terms I have never heard of in my life only to give blank stares

Now I follow up with the same people to see how things are going and I hear things like well we could moon at the end of the year again, or it could drop if it breaks this support level. Buy at your own risk. Like wtf kind of analysis is that

deep down, everyone is rekt
actually... not even that deep.. just rekt

RickyTan3 08-11-2018 06:56 PM

only altcoins got REKT, been steady decline for a while.

great buying opportunity, or just straight fear.

Nlkko 08-11-2018 07:00 PM

Bitcoin -70% from high. That constitutes a rekt.

SkinnyPupp 08-11-2018 08:47 PM

Oh is bitcoin dead again? Thanks for letting us know SeemsGood

Algo trading with BTC/ETH/EOS futures, so any movement is better than sideways ..

it means they have no idea which way its actually going, but are biased to the upside, and still trading on hope of that moon glory.

basically they're gambling.

#HODL if you're not holding longterm and hoping for a quick short term trade without looking at technicals, then cryptos are probably not for you...

Manic! 09-01-2018 10:43 AM

So just found out today you can no longer fund quadrigacx via RBC. RBC shut that down 3 months ago. So now I have to go close my RBC account and open one up with a credit union. Is there anyplace in the lower mainland where you can buy and sell crypto in person? Like just hand them the money and get your crypto

There are OTC deals available. However, the ones that I know of aren't doing small amounts.

Looking to maybe start moving large amounts.

Manic! 09-02-2018 10:36 PM

I know of a really large land deal happening right right now and the Chinese want to pay in bitcoin. I'm talking 8 figures. Can't post to much info right now but when the deal goes threw I will post more info.

Plenty of OTC deals moving 9 figures. It's actually pretty astonishing, the amount of money that people have. But in that industry, I'm sure you know, you're going to be paid for your discretion.

Verdasco 12-23-2018 11:53 PM

SkinnyPupp 12-24-2018 12:26 AM

Yup I was lucky to buy some more at the low last week. For once.

I was hoping someone would come in here and tell us how bitcoin is dead. Again.

Blueboy222 12-24-2018 02:50 AM

4Head

SkinnyPupp 12-24-2018 06:02 AM

Always buy. It will only go up in the long run. Plus don't forget to USE IT. That's what makes it worth existing. If it's lower than what you bought it for, just buy more and spend that.
