we should just join in. when it starts to crash, sell if possible.

if not. just buy a bunch when it goes low., make back the difference.

You think buying bitcoins local for 125/bitcoin is worth it right now. Bitcoin is slowly dropping atm.

SkinnyPupp 04-10-2013 06:27 PM

In the process of adding Bitcoin as an payment method on kidsamurai.com and kakoistyle.com (my wife's ecommerce sites)

Pretty new at this stuff, I want to start mining Litecoin at home when I am at work...here is where I am currently at:

Downloaded Litecoin client
Opened an account at coinotron
Downloaded EasyLTC

I believe I am still missing a pool? Can someone guide me the next steps thanks.

TOS'd 04-10-2013 07:18 PM

anyone mining on a nvidia card? which miner are you using?

dyan 04-10-2013 07:29 PM

^
It's 3-5x faster mining on amd cards. Don't bother with nvidia card. Hard to break even farming

shawnly1000 04-10-2013 07:34 PM

I have my entire retirement and savings invested in Bitcoin. I will track its progress here over time. : Bitcoin

BurnoutBinLaden 04-10-2013 07:57 PM

Saddled with debt and threw $30,000 into an extremely risky internet currency instead of a more traditional investment vehicle :heckno:

SkinnyPupp 04-10-2013 07:59 PM

Well he made $250K in less than a month, so he did something right :D

He could go full on Robert Kiyoaski and write books books, hire people to act as "real people who made real money in Bitcoin", get seminars going, that's how he'll make real money

Razor Ramon HG 04-10-2013 08:20 PM

He was one of the lucky ones.

It's a dumbass move to invest more than you can afford to lose.. I wish he lost all that just because.

do buy orders actually take 3-4 days to process or are you just talking about the verification period?

seems kinda pointless for them to have buy orders etc if you dont get a purchase through as a price varies over 3-4 days?

Razor Ramon HG 04-10-2013 08:24 PM

Just to verify accounts. I believe you can still trade if your account is unverified, but you cannot withdraw cash to bank. At least that's how it is as far as I know with MTGOX.

Hondaracer 04-10-2013 08:46 PM

yea to do cash deposits though via online banking you need to be verified, just did it now and it's your typical poker site/sports book type stuff

Ulic Qel-Droma 04-10-2013 09:02 PM

the guy that made 250k in a month... can't point fingers at him.

winning is winning. some ppl get lucky. i mean btc coulda crashed early on and he coulda been in the shits.

yeah he took an ULTRA HIGH RISK bet. and with that came ULTRA HIGH REWARD.

it coulda been premonition, skill, luck, whatever.... it doesn't matter though, because he pulled it off.

it doesn't mean he can pull it off again. it just means he pulled it off that one time.

he's got the money in his account, that's all that matters in trading and investing.

WINNING IS WINNING.

Hondaracer 04-10-2013 09:35 PM

So does LTC have potential to reach BTC heights?

JayEch 04-10-2013 09:43 PM

^ I doubt it but u never know.

On a side note. Is it normal to get a massive fluctuation in hashing rates. I get anywhere between 125-300h/s. normally its around 140-200 tho. but it always seems to jump.
