When I tried to get it work, it says it can't detect/recognize the file.

I've downloaded the lua and placed in the VLC folder.

I'm using the most recent version of VLC. Create the lua file and place it in the correct lua folder.

when you put the stream URL check off more options and put this into the edit options bar;

http-user-agent=AppleCoreMedia/1.0.0.8C148 (iPad; U; CPU OS 4_2_1 like Mac OS X; en_us)

This is what I'm doing for it to work.

Where are you finding the stream URL? I just get to download a m3u8 file.

Using: http://nlds12.cdnak.neulion.com/nlds...s_hd_3000.m3u8

And same problem occurs.

Confirmed to work. Online Stream is about 1 minute behind TV though. Lol
