wtf...is this legit? I would've traded Edler for Hamilton in a heartbeat unless the bruins were asking for prospects/picks AND edler which is probably more likely |

If the Kesler trade went through, Edler would've been traded right after to the Bruins according to the Bruins. But who knows...I read the same tweet kristianhay just posted about Edler not waiving his NTC. |
Drooling over the though of having Hamilton Edit - Hamilton could very well be that no. 1 D we always needed Edit edit - apparently on CDC, Hamilton was never part of the deal...it was only spooner/koklachev and bartkowski #nothxjeff Posted via RS Mobile |
I just heard bieksa comments after the game last night " this is fucking humiliating " LOL finally someone who isn't " oh hunny we just looking at the next game gurllll " Posted via RS Mobile |

Edler for Dougie Hamilton lol no way... Management nix the Kesler trade to the Pens so Edler couldn't be dealt to the Bruins. :heckno: Good to know Edler is a boston bruin type player like bieksa |

ha ha ha Sorry, why would Edler wanna waive his NTC he just signed Swedes, are career team guys...whether they suck or not..haha |

..Oh wait just described Kesler :troll: |
Not sure why some of you are adverse to having Dougie Hamilton as a return for Edler or any other D man on the team (even though he likely wasn't part of the deal). The Canucks are in a full rebuild mode, whether they want to admit it or not. Given the Canucks D is a point of strength on the team, getting a blue-chipper like Hamilton in return not only frees up cap space but removes one NTC from the team. Yes I know Edler would likely veto any trade given the comments circulating. But had he been game to that deal, I can't see that being a bad deal for either team. Bruins are competing in the now for a(nother :() Cup. The Canucks, not so much. |

Sounds like Bruins and Canucks had the deal agreed to, but Gillis had to move Kesler first, Kesler wasn't moved so he never got back to Boston about Edler. Report: Bruins had deal in place for Edler, but Canucks blew it | ProHockeyTalk |
Yeah, if that was the deal and the Canucks had accepted it, I would be absolutely appalled. |
Kassian suspended for 3 games for boarding |
It was a bonehead move but not worth 3 games. Either way.....meh. |

Ya Seguin would be a good trade. Trade the guy who carried the canucks thru the nashville series and still tried to get it done on one leg against boston... for the kid who got traded because he disappears in the playoffs. Altho he is having a hell of a season this year |
I am hoping that everyone on RS does not buy Canucks game tickets, jerseys, or merchandise in order to send a message to Aquilini. If people stop renewing their season ticket packages or buy tickets to single games, it will force ownership to seriously think about transforming team management in order to start on the long road to making this team a Cup contender again. Does Aquaman really think that all Canucks fans are stupid sheep who will keep spending our hard earned money on tickets to watch a team has hit rock bottom? Hit Aquaman in the pocketbook so that the necessary changes are made to bring this franchise out of the abyss. I'll watch Canucks games only on TV to support to this team. No more buying of game tickets for me. I'm not filling up Aquilini's pocket with cash anymore! |
