Man, its so easy to play the what if game. Its easy to say "we shoulda drafted so and so instead of so and so" But take a look at the draft lists going back a few years. there are all stars drafted in the 4th round, with 50 guys drafted in the first 3 rounds that never made it to the NHL. There are countless guys who were top 10 projections who never made it in the NHL.

And add to that, since the Sedins were drafted, Vancouver has only had 2 top 15 drafts and those were Bourdon and CoHo.

If drafting was so easy, do you think San Jose woulda taken Steve Bernier instead of Kesler, Richards, Parise, Getzlaf, Perry, Bergeron, or Weber?

These are the best kind of "what ifs"- The 2011 Cup Finals ones.

WHAT IF Hamhuis didn't decide to try and piggy-back Lucic?

WHAT IF Rome didn't make Horton go night-night.
