Should I even bother evolving anything at all before at least lvl 12?

Also, went down to White Rock Beach, dropped a lure, a horde of high school girls literally came sprinting across the street to the waterfront area screaming "THERE'S A LURE"

I would evolve common Pokemon, Rattata Pidgey Zubat are the most common examples. Good XP, I have also found Eevee to be some what more common for what it evolves into, probably the best bang for your candy when evolving. 350-450cp should be obtainable at your level and i think will evolve a 700-900cp roughly, fun if you want to battle most regular gyms.


Also the other night there was a butterfree nearby, 460cp and I was level 15, had a red circle while trying to catch it, and it eventually ran away. Don't get why some Pokemon 600-700cp will be yellow, and yet that butterfree was red.

Catch every single Pidgey you can get because they only take 12 Pidgey candies to evolve into Pidgeotto. I think it's the most common and easiest pokemon to catch and evolve. Combine that with a lucky egg at a triple lure location and you'll be racking up so much experience that you'll level up in no time.

I dropped a lucky egg the other night at the Stanley Park triple lure and in an hour I had jumped from level 14 to level 16, because I got double XP from evolving 20 pokemon and also catching all the ones that continually pop up.

Got these two within 10 mins of each other at No 4 Dyke in Richmond.
Lots of cool Pokemons there like Voltrobe, Magnemite. Also got Magmar but only 366 CP.

Was at a triple lure last night around 11:30pm. Big kudos to whoever brought a clear garbage bag so that people could throw their junk in there instead of making a mess.

It won't update automatically if you downloaded the first APK from here, but you are able to update through the Google play store

^ that has confirm to work by Reddit users. Only thing is when you walk over to those spot with the ingress app open you end up collecting those energy and other player that pull up the map won't be able to see it. Guess it will be a problem if there are an active ingress player base in the area

Is anyone having issues with trying to get a Pidgey to evolve into a Pidgeotto? I got an error message three times today about Pidgey not being evolved "due to an error".
