I had the same thing happen, but once I arranged my pokemon by Time, I had a Rhidon -- which I didn't previously have before.

So try arranging them by time to see if you got anything new.

Threw a berry and 2 great balls. The curve ball glitch happened because I went into my bag again, but luckily he was so big that my curve balls still hit him hahaha

How do you choose which Pokemon to evolve when they're multiples. I don't quite understand by the semi circle and cp etc.. Should I just pick the highest cp?

highest cp with the greatest potential (so closer to the right side of the arc) is how I evolve mine

Pikachu B ------------------o----- <--- less room to hit max CP = not as good.

Pikachu A in this case hasn't even reached 50% of his max CP, so it should be stronger at the end.

You are correct, because the needle moves to the right every time you power up your Pokemon. Once it hits the end of the right side then it can't be powered up anymore.

How about with HP? Does that play a factor at all?

From what I've read, HP is based on Pokemon's Size? But not sure if that is absolutely confirmed.

Ultimate factors on which duplicate to keep:

-CP (Current and Max CP)
-Skillset
-HP

From what I read, the max of that needle is based on your trainer level. As your level increases, so does that room between the point and the max.
so for example,if your trainer is at level 10, 2 pikachus at identical cp 100 will have identical positions on the needle scale. There was a good explaination on reddit but i cant seem to find it.

Also, the way I determine if it will have a high cp after evolving is based on how much stardust it is power it. It seems that regardless of which evolution you are on, the stardust cost seems to be consistent. I could be wrong but from what i have noticed, this seems to be the case.
Heres an example with really rough numbers,
Pidgey at CP 100 cost 500 stardust to increase to a total of CP 150. After evolving to pidgeotto, it is now CP 300
Pidgey at CP 100 was evolved and is now Pidgeotto with CP 200. This pidgeotto will still cost 500 stardust to increase it to CP 300.
In the end Both pidgeys cost 500 stardust to bring it CP 300 regardless if it was powered up before or after the evolution.

When did the higher CP (500+ to 900+ stuff) Pokemon start appearing for you guys? I was levelling up from 8 to 11 tonight and wasn't able to get a single thing over 400, most of the crap was between 0-250, and my friend who I was levelling with is level 15 but all the exact same Pokemon that appeared for him at the same time at the lure was 200-500? I'm assuming this is based on level?

Depends how big the building is. Your active radius might not be large enough to reach inside a large building.
