Wouldn't be surprised if a good set goes for $1000 down the road. |
Near new checker mats go for $750 USD. A few have sold at that price recently. BNIB with all original paperwork would touch $1k. Besides the rarity I never understood the attraction. They are heavy as shit and the bottom side takes a beating and flakes. The 2001 blacks are much lighter. I have both sets along with a couple sets of the Euro ones and I'm tempted to sell for that lotto win but I kinda like hoarding stuff more :drunk: |
I actually got a pair of front checkered mats with my car in addition to the original worn 2001 mats. I sold my pair of checkers on eBay two years ago (should have kept them longer). I use the euro mats daily and have a new in the package 2001 mats on the shelf that came from jasonturbo's stash. I think you can still get the 2001 mats new but 97-00 checkers are long discontinued. Same story with MKIV Supras and people trying to bring them back to stock. |
Did Canadian spec itr have the dealer option trunk mat? It say integra type r on it. That is super rare. |
1998 ITR as discussed. I still think these cars are a bargain. https://vancouver.craigslist.ca/pml/...621685001.html |

Peeps are going bananas for 97's nowadays. $26k already? One owner, claim free, dealer serviced. It definitely ticks all the right boxes for sure without being a museum piece. |
Although 97 is awesome the price of parts is down right frightening. 97 front lip new in the box sold in minutes for $2k USD. Apparently a used one sold for $3k USD recently. A lot of parts are discontinued for the 97 such as head lights, tail lights, floor mats etc. I suppose this becomes a problem with many old cars. So does one track a 97 ITR anymore? Or is it too collectable. |
I do plan to track my '97, although mine is so far away from being a museum piece.. |
so NA spec cars the 97' and the 01' cdn spec seems to be the most valuable but then theres that flamenco black pearl..... |

How much do you guys think unmolested CW fenders are going for nowadays? |
about $150ea fenders arn't worth much to be honest but if put a list together of what you have i might be interested in what you have :) |
Here is the link to the 97 ITR parts that sold in minutes. $950 USD for new checkered mats lolz https://www.typerclub.org/forums/vie...php?f=13&t=382 Hakkaboy: What other ITR parts do you have? Edit: Another 97 available again. On the other end of the modified spectrum. If it doesn't sell looks like it will be parted. I had to do the same with my heavily modified 90 LS back in the day. It was painful but I recouped a lot more. https://vancouver.craigslist.ca/van/...583958144.html https://images.craigslist.org/00T0T_...Bm_600x450.jpg |

anyone knows what best to delete the rear wiper? i bought 91617-SB6-000, but the lip don't bite onto the glass, so it is very loose. Also, looking for front camber kit. |
I have the following ITR parts on my frost white GSR which I've owned since 1999: - 97 OEM ITR lip - 5 lug conversion with oem spring/shock/rsb/lcas - OEM USDM 15" gunmetal rims - 98 USDM front/rear seats + center console - ITR axle-back muffler Not on car: - CW USDM fenders - full OEM USDM ITR cat back (mid-pipe + second axle back) - JDM ITR rear seat bench (the one without a middle separator) Was originally planning waiting till 25 year (2 more years to go) and then applying for collectors plate, so whatever doesn't get approved by ICBC I will swap back to stock, but I haven't driven this car in over 14 months now and have no idea if I ever will. Hell, I don't even know when the next time I'll be driving my AP2 :( |
I think one of the comments really summarized well why the price of R's are going through the roof. Nostalgia is a powerful thing. "I recently got the one I won a few weeks ago (29k 2000 Black) – and while most people think I overpaid, what only I can value is how much I was willing put into having my own time machine sitting in my garage. Sitting in the car, touching the panels and shifter, smelling some of the original car smell, really take me back to my early 20’s – and that’s worth the premium you pay for these. The value of these cars is much more than the physical performance they have as automobiles. I can remember sitting in my Integra wondering if 120 seconds of Autocrossing was worth the whole day sitting and waiting at an event. Or driving out to a track day hoping I was able to make it back home and to work the next day in the very same car.. All those days of cruising around campus and justifying ditching class since there was no premo-parking available, or setting off car alarms by punching the gas in low gear in a parking lot. Or picking up on all the hotties once they saw me drive by… Actually, I don’t think that one ever actually happened. GL!" |
