I went with the DMT tail light gaskets. No leaks from the day I left it in the rain. https://m.ebay.com/itm/1994-2001-Acu...YAAOSwX61ZA19N Lapping day is by etransfer as they decided to avoid the motorsports reg fees. I just paid this morning. https://m.facebook.com/groups/176207...der&view=group |
oh tf is going on............ https://seattle.craigslist.org/see/c...585572381.html and its sold! https://www.instagram.com/p/Bi4jXbhl...-by=acuraparts |
There's also this one in July https://www.motorsportreg.com/events...orsport-817797 for VIMC |
^ I did VIMC with Speed Fanatics and it was a great time. Highly recommend them. Lunch is spendy but you can pack a cooler or make it to Timmys/Subway/McDonalds and back. |
when I replaced the taillight gasket on the dc5 last month I also put silicone around the lights...will have to wait for a rainstorm to really test it aw man 500$ doesn't get you lunch? did jasonturbo buy that 97? according to him it may touch six figs |
Nope. June 2nd event is a fancy hamburger lunch for $20. Speed Fanatics ($525 early bird) was an additional $35 for a fancy lunch. Don't think so. Jt wants Phoenix yellow |
Anyone have an extra B-Series Plug cover they wanna sell? |
|
VIMC lunch was probably the saddest burger I've ever had in my life, even without counting the $35 price tag. Track is definitely fun though, but definitely makes for a spendy weekend if you count the ferries coming over. To make this type R relevant, what does RS know about this caR? https://vancouver.craigslist.ca/rds/...564792265.html I'm not in the market right now, but I check pretty often anyways just for kicks.. |
^Been posted multiple times in this thread. Its shit, sold for around 7k last year. |

I feel like the NSX getting out of reach has pushed the ITR market up. |
^^that and I wouldn't necessarily consider it a unicorn due to the badge number. It only boasts the cool factor since the badging sequence was at complete random with no correlation to anything like the VIN, build sequence, etc. The number is the just the number and each one has it's own relevance in the same light. |
for auto purchases it's no longer logical to bother converting CAD to USD since like 5 years ago many new cars at the dealership are typically within 5% of US MSRP, but in CAD...we've been typically getting the 'better' deal |
|
Sorry, what's wrong with this Type R again ? A lot of parts but the car won't run |
car runs fine just take long to heat up.. (maybe its fixed now who knows) guy got a new ctr so moving on to bigger better things i guess lol |
VIMC is an extremely fun track. Very tight and technical with plenty of elevation change. Loosely reminds me of Ebisu touge course. DC2 would do very well. I might be at June 2nd VIMC with the FK8 or AP2 depending if my wheels arrive for the FK8. |
Installed new oem rear calipers, painted the fronts to a silver to match the backs and changed the lug nuts to black. I can’t stand anything looking chrome. https://i.imgur.com/2O3VAtk.jpg https://i.imgur.com/V1CziaU.jpg https://i.imgur.com/AfYDJI9.jpg 2 coats of opti-seal |
Anyone know what the red colour code is for the centre caps? I gotta refinish mine |
thank you. Quote:

VR6GTI are those black lugs ball seat? Nicer Dc2 Recaro in black. Tempting but I am leaning towards a single bucket for track days. https://vancouver.craigslist.ca/rds/...595132891.html |
