I thought USDM only came in PY and CW. How is this car NBP unless painted....?

2 shades of black were available in the US.

Those color options (CW + PY) were the only choices for the CDM market, I think the US market had four color choices.

oh, interesting... didn't know that. I definitely haven't seen many black USDM ITR's over the years.

Well happy Friday look what I received last night! I am determined to get the Canadian 2001 production numbers from Honda Canada. I have not been able to get a letter from Honda Canada yet. I email every week and I receive a response saying they are too busy and will review when they have time.

So after some digging on HT, I found a member who stated they received a letter in 2011 from Honda Canada stating 185 were made. His car was written off and he requested the letter in order to help prove the collector value of the car.

After trying for the last month or so I finally received it via email last night.

i want to think mine wasn't chopped up into little bits and was shipped in a container overseas to somewhere...

ITR Registry is the closest thing, but doesn't have ALL the cars, and lots haven't been updated.

My 01 didn't have the stock center arm rest.
All I know is that the last 3 numbers on the VIN was 312.
One of the previous owners is a certain fire fighting fLames fan on RS. :nyan:

First hurdle already! That is too bad about the badge. Maybe flame expert knows the badge

Is there any way to find out your badge # if it's missing?

There is a guy on ITRCA or H-T who can do a bit of research, but chances are slim. Not sure the avenues he uses but seems to have a connection that can help with badge numbers.

What ever happened to this car?

Sold 3-4ish years ago to an older asian guy looking for a fun little car. He didn't know much about the ITR but really liked it. Bumped into it parked about a year later. Same parts, stickers etc still.

I saw it there in 2014. Looks pretty much the same.

So I have started a spreadsheet of all 2001 CDM ITR. :accepted: I started with the badges from the registry and have used ITR Expo, Honda-Tech and info on RS to try to track more badges. So far I have come up with just 39 of 185. Four with unknown badge numbers that were posted for sale over the years on ITR Expo (goes back to 2007).

Note that this data becomes stale almost immediately. Some of these cars may have been long written off but until I learn otherwise they stay on the list.

If you have any info on a 2001 CDM ITR not listed or have current mileage etc let me know.

I am using the same format as the registry: Badge, Prov / State, mileage (kms), Un-modified or modified, Title, Brand, Last update.
