WHAT????????????????? That's good news. Since they refuse to open a store up in Canada. I've tried forever to see if they would open one up here, but this kind of tells me they never will. WooHoo!!!!!!!!! Actually, there goes quiet border line ups.............. need new strategy, gulolol. |
Damn that’s crazy! When are they expected to open? |
I tried looking for info/news and couldn't find anything. Is there a source on the information? |
I don't believe it until there is proof. That would be fricken awesome tho. |
I'd love for there to be a TJ's in Blaine but I'm guessing it's too close to the Bellingham location and would take away sales from that store. Blaine itself isn't populated enough to sustain 2 grocery stores either which makes it even less likely for TJ's to open up. |

On my way to 24/7 Parcel, there was a new building going up. Half a block up from Edaleen Dairy. I'm not sure if that's going to be the TJ's. There's also an older building that screams TJ's that's empty. It's across from Ed and Eileen's parking lot. |

Got word from one of the cashiers at the Bellingham location |

The new building going up or the, "god it looks like a typical old school Trader Joe's," place. |
Also, been hooked on this............ https://www.traderjoes.com/digin/pos...juice-beverage One of those, "get it whenever you're there," items. Mmmmmmm............ granny smith apples. What's new at Trader Joe's? https://www.traderjoes.com/digin/category/What's%20New Like 10 fricken pages!!!!! |
First time going to Trader Joe's, got over whelmed by their selection of products :lawl: On the side note, didn't know Costco moved right next to exit 258, in front of Fred Meyer. |
I heard they pulled out not building anymore? Can anyone confirm? |

Tried a few of their products so far. Ghost Pepper chips, not as described thinking it was going to be blistering hot like Blair's death rain chips, but has a good over all spectrum of flavor. Crispy crunchy broccoli - pretty expensive for a bag that has about 40g of content, sort of addictive at the same time, has the similar crunch compared to potato chips. Frozen orange Mandarin chicken - supposedly this was a popular product at the store, after making it as per instructions, definitely tastes pretty good, kids like it also. Would definitely buy again. |
Damn, just popped the wrapper on this sick puppy........... wow. Another, "Gotta get one when at TJ's," item. https://www.traderjoes.com/digin/pos...-chocolate-bar |

And also they have their own version of the flaming hot Cheetos. Haven't opened it yet to try it. |
turkey jerky is pretty good |
Anyone go recently and had any issues coming back and get charged tariffs? |

Got waived through a few times now, declared $125 USD worth of gas and trader joes EDIT: for more clarification, 4 Jerry cans and another 30 to 40 dollars worth of trader Joe's :lawl: |
Got me a 4 pack of TJ's Rhubarb and Strawberry Soda yesterday. Gave it a day and a half to sit in the fridge at 1º C. And sure enough, it's another one of those, "Gotta get one next time I'm there," products. It's not overpowering with flavour, but refreshing. https://www.traderjoes.com/fearless-flyer/article/4115 Not sure if I should chance the Lemon Elderberry one. I'm not that adventurous, hee hee....... |
My newest addiction is the white truffle potato chips. First bite and I can't stop eating it :sweetjesus: |

CBSA is quite generous in term of the amount one can bring back tax-free as long as they are edible stuff and for personal use. Quick search on google: https://blog.tugo.com/en/blog/cross-...ack-to-canada/ I've once brought an entire F&F BBQ party worth of groceries (I think it was U$500+, mostly meats with only disposable utensils, plastic cups and plates being non-edible goods) and the officer didn't even blink an eye and I was on my way without any taxes. |
Bought a pack of the Trader Joe's dark chocolate covered cacao nibs and they're great! Not too sweet and has a nice crunchy texture from the cacao nibs. Also picked up their 'everything but the bagel' seasoning which goes great in eggs |
