Went down to Bellingham today (Wednesday.) Picked up some Dark Russet, Kettle Cooked, Potato Chips. Nothing fantastic, but really good taste and texture. Just like the over cooked crispy fries you get once in a while at a diner or burger joint. Trader Joe's Dark Russet Kettle-Cooked Potato Chips |
We got those last time as well. Good chips, oily though. |
I'm off to Bellingham tomorrow, but not sure what to get at TJ's. One thing I purchased last year and won't again is this.......... https://www.traderjoes.com/home/prod...asoning-060255 Not enough flavour (weak). There are so many Furikake out there that this is just, meh, at best. My favourites......... https://www.nagatanien.com/products/ Nothing like kombu tsukudani or nori tsukudane like https://www.nan-ban.com/en/product/gohan-desu-yo Furikake, guys, not bukkake................... sprinkle vs douse, lol. |

I asked my daughter if she wanted anything from Trader Joe's. She said two boxes of cookies, please. They're called Cookie Butter Cookies. If she wants two, they must be good, right? So I got three. Opened the box and had some just now, as well. Damn............ shortbread cookie sandwich with cookie butter filling. https://www.amazon.com/Trader-Joes-C...00SQCY6UO?th=1 |
My favourite cereal of all time is Trader Joe's, "Just the Clusters Ginger Almond & Cashew Cereal." As soon as the borders opened up again after the Covid lock down, the first thing I purchased was a box. I finally opened up that box. Wow, still as good as I remember, but.......... I almost lost a few teeth. The crystallized ginger pieces were more like tiny rocks. I carefully ate a bowl of them. For the last month or so, I couldn't find any on the shelves. I just called them and sure enough, they are discontinued. The good news is, it's easy to make your own. When I make my own, I'm going to make sure the ginger pieces are soft. I guess a trip to Galloway's.......... https://www.amazon.com/Trader-Joes-C...ustomerReviews |

Would definitely recommend! |
I was there this morning......... next time, I guess. |
I picked up what I think is a thermal bag from Trader Joe's this past weekend in Southern California. If it's the black one with a plastic-type of lining inside, it worked really well even when the bag was exposed in the sun. It kept our cool drinks cold and without the help of any ice packs. |
Should keep your balls in there too, heat kills swimmers yo |

https://www.google.com/search?rls=en...&bih=746&dpr=2 I've got a couple of red, one blue, two black, a super beat up white original one............. would love to get a purple and pink one. Friend of mine lives in LA. Should bug him to look for those and send them up. |
Not trade joes but you guys looking for cooler bags, Costco Willingdon has 3 different types on those middle aisles right now, two soft ones and one soft outer with a more rigid inner frame |
^ Not sure if it's the royal blue/grey one I got. Those are nothing comparing the TJ one, which I have too. |

https://i.postimg.cc/Gpw1Tysk/PXL-20...-175509036.jpg I'm here now at the Bellingham location, looks like tons of stock for the popcorn and habanero peppers. Kind of sad that they're out of stock for the orange chicken though EDIT: still no thermal bags here EDIT2: Made a rookie mistake, forgot that WinCo ONLY accepts cash or American debit |

Went to a couple of Trader Joe's in the Renton/Burien/Seattle area. No cooler bags, but damn, aisles were fully stocked. Not busy at all. I think there were more workers at the stores than customers. One of Trader Joe's trademarks - over staff is best policy. Anyway, I'm signed up to receive e-mails from them. Latest one from today............. https://www.traderjoes.com/home/disc...anana-day-2022 Holy, Hanna Barbera, Banana Fritters? And, dark chocolate covered bananas, ftmfw! |
May's Fearless Flyer............ https://www.traderjoes.com/home/ff Going down tomollow. Parcel pickup, cheap gas, and TJ's, what else? (in a George Clooney voice). |
A Pickle-Powered Seasoning Blend Sea Salt Brownie Bites Trader Joe’s Sour Cream & Onion Flavored Rings Trader Joe’s Everything But The Bagel Seasoned Bite Sized Crackers Trader Joe’s Strawberry & Vanilla Flavored Yogurt Pretzels Dill Pickle Mini Falafel After going through the flyer, these are the items I want to try out |
