Side note, it's fucking depressing watching Tkachuk with the Flames. JB has made some solid picks during his tenure but can't help but wonder if Tkachuk will be one of his biggest mistakes at the draft. The kid's got it all and I wouldn't be surprised if he becomes a 60-70 pt player in his second year. We probably won't even see Juolevi in a consistent role until after next season or even the season after next.

I dont see Juolevi being close to a stud dman...he reminds me of maata just steady boring ass Fin on the back end. I for one think it was still a solid pick, no matter what Tkachuk does for the Flames. In the end, if Juolevi ends up being a solid PP quarterback and top 2 pairing d-man, Canucks did fine.

Shitty thing is, we can't really know until 3 or so years from now when Juolevi will hopefully be an established dman in our roster.
