Editted my post for clarification. Not everyone knows New York New York is owned by MGM since the casino across the street is called the MGM Grand.

murd0c 11-23-2016 09:34 AM

It's pretty crazy how about 3 companies own all the hotels on the strip.

keifun 11-23-2016 10:36 AM

That helmet logo looks more like Golden Spartans than Knights.

I still think its lame either way.

"Spend a night in Vegas, they said. It will be fun they said. Where the fuck did my helmet go?"

- Magneto, probably

not true. there is street access between new york new york and monte carlo to the front with a huge outdoor open space in front of the front doors. i walked there and stood there like 4 months ago. you don't need to walk thru a casino to get there, infact, i think the building is entirely stand alone aside from a walkway to the parkade

dbaz 11-23-2016 09:12 PM

^ yep. right beside a parkade with a street that runs between the back of nyny and the arena

RiceIntegraRS 11-23-2016 09:16 PM

wow, i think this is the first time in RS History there was no posts in this thread when the canucks played. They won btw 4-1

bobbinka 11-23-2016 09:52 PM

Horvat leads the team in points & goals.

I seriously thought RS was down during that time when I refreshed my page and no one mentioned about tonight's game

AzNightmare 11-23-2016 10:30 PM

When you're battling for the bottom against the worst team in the NHL, winning is losing. :troll:

6o4__boi 11-24-2016 07:31 AM

Bo has been fun to watch lately.

The rest of the Canucks...not so much.

dbaz 11-24-2016 08:11 AM

travis yost of tsn was talking about gudbranson and the avs last night. no idea why..

6o4__boi 11-24-2016 08:18 AM

...is that sarcasm?

From what I gleaned off social media, the Avs believe they're a top 4 defensive dman away from being a solid play-off team.
Don't know exactly who started the noise but Gudbranson's name was thrown out there. There might be some interest from the Avs considering Barrie hasn't been good lately. But it's all just speculation at this point.

FWIW, sounds like Dougie Hamilton was also thrown in there. But the Flames won't be giving up so quickly on him.

I think it'd be a good idea to unload Gudbranson...he's not worth the money he'll be asking. Could be another Sbisa-like contract in the making but in $4M-$5M range.
Let him go and use that money to sign Bo to a solid extension.

Edit: Just took a look who else the Avs had on D and I can see why they'd be interested in another dman

I'd be ok with starting shooter tutor the rest of the season. Embrace the tank.

SumAznGuy 11-24-2016 09:53 AM

So now that Burrows has shown a couple of games where he can still produce and is showing chemistry with Bo and Baer, do you think the Nucks will re-sign him to a 1 or 2 year deal at the end of the season?

murd0c 11-24-2016 09:57 AM

Nucks should trade him rather then sign him

Pretending to know Bur on a personal level, I suspect he'll take a pay cut to stay here. He seems like that kind of guy.

I wonder if he would pull a Vermette and accept a trade if there's interest, then just come back in the summer.

murd0c 11-24-2016 10:10 AM

So the Canucks just signed Hutton to a two year extension for 5.6mill... 2.8 a season seems like a ok cap hit I guess but really they should of waited since he hasn't been playing the greatest this year so far.

6o4__boi 11-24-2016 10:23 AM

it's a pretty decent bridge deal

the one contract i'm scared of seeing re-signed is Gudbranson's.
