hard to say how trade deadline will go...i think and kinda hope the Canucks stand pat and do nothing at the dealine. If a dman had to go, i would think the available ones would be Hutton, Biega and Sbisa for their expansion eligibility value. Stecher and Tryamkin should be untouchable unless it was a really good offer for em. If Canucks are still in the playoff hunt, no way they're trading Tanev and Edler will never waive his NTC.

He ain't worth the paper his next contract will be signed on. Jimbo's love for him and his RFA status is potentially gonna fuck us with another shitty contract. I would honestly take whatever money they were gonna give Gudbranson and give that to Tryamkin (also an RFA in the summer). At least Tryamkin is worth it, has a mean streak, starting to show that he can be an underrated skater and has offensive upside. Gudbranson is all talk.

I don't mind Biega. I don't think he was that bad on D when compared to Larsen.
Larsen looked lost on the first PP line. Putting him on that line means taking Stetcher off, so something to consider.

this team like i said is all smoke and mirrors...they will hover around the playoff bubble and miss it by a couple points and we can blame in on all those shitty loses to devils, carolina, arizona, the 9 game losing streak and then end up with a shitty draft position. Hopefully willie will be gone at the end of the season which could be the highlight.

For teams being shafted by poor scheduling like the Canucks, Sabres, and Leafs (with the most back to back games), the fact that the playoffs are within reach is impressive.
