Vegas is going to be a terrible market for any pro sports team except for maybe the NFL. Football would work because they play fewer games and majority of them are on a Sunday.

The announcement video on NHL Live was sooooooooo bush league, ghetto, cringe-worthy, hard to watch, lame, disorganized.... I could go on forever. It was pretty bad.

Any of you remember when the Canucks announced its hockey stick in rink logo? I do. It was hilarious. People were like WTF? Then the skate, and my all time favourite, the flying "V".

All looked like ass at the time, but became favourites over the years.


Like any team, the logo will evolve.

Vegas is going to work since all the hotels will want a piece of the action, they already have 16,000 season tickets sold which is beyond impressive.

it's connected to the MGM and you have to walk through the casino to get to it.

but there is no public access or drop offs so you have to go through the Casino in order to get to the actual rink and MGM owns it. :thumbs:
