Electoral reform truly would bring the country together I believe. Every party has elements that would build our country to being a better place, and until the parties, and different groups learn to work together, we will just spin our wheels. Heres hoping Trudeau and the other leaders learn this before hand, and work for the people instead of simply for their "parties."
They can not continue to simply criticize, and block progress, financial, social, or environmental because it doesn't align with their historical platforms.

Is there a way to impeach a Canadian PM? Legit question. I don't think I can stand more years of JT at the helm. I believe in the Liberal platform, not the leader. IMO Jagmeet Singh should be Liberal PM from the way he ran this election.

Nenshi would be my choice for a liberal leader. Jagmeet ran a great campaign, but the party didn't have a platform that could appeal to a broad enough demographic.

yep you bet, why should we give more fuel to China...so they can buildup more bases in the Pacific and continuing to arm North Korea? modern China is developed a lot later say Japan or USA, the onus is not on Canada for them to get off coal reliance...they simply dont give a fuck go look at how much exotic animals the CCP unofficially encourages the black market to flourish

On top of that, regardless of what someones preferences are, whoever you consider to be the worst of the possible leaders of our country is still far better than the "best" option (if they even get an choice) that people in a lot of other countries get.

Wait until their gdp per capita gets close to ours. Which is increasing relative to their emissions.
Those who can afford to emit, will. Up until the point that they can afford not to.

Laughed so hard when they had Jagmeet making a 20m victory speech as if he just became PM, then Scheer starts his concession speech and literally 1m later JT starts his speech so they cut to him instantly. Scheer is already a becoming a distant memory.

Ah, another hypocrite. You know almost 90% of Alaska's GDP is from O&G, right? You know O&G employs more than a third of the state, right? You know all that oil sails right down the Pacific coast to the tune of hundreds of tankers a year past all the lands that aren't actually protected by Bill C-48 because all that does is ban Canadian based tankers, right? You know the reason gas is cheaper in WA is because it's subsidized by Alberta because we can't get fair market value for it while it's landlocked and the Americans get it cheap, right?

Happy reading: https://www.aoga.org/

You're literally buying Canadian gas at a discounted rate at the cost of your own country. You don't support shit.

When Trudeau heard the reports of a 'minority' government for the Liberals, he pulled out the face paints so he could blend in.

We'll be seeing 1 million fresh liberal voters every term, as that conversation becomes more and more difficult to have.

What do you think about Peter Mackay as leader of Cons?

And party develops a policy for climate change, be a bit more inclusive (LBGTQXYZ) ... that might tip them over to the winning side.

i dont have to pay 45% carbon tax and support the saudi by pumping south, sounds like a win to me

yes it's unfortunate the crude there is tankered up/down the coast, but beats giving energy to China

and no, i don't give a rats ass about supporting subsidies like for the dairy industry

Lib minority gov't...will the pipeline through BC see it through to 100% completion?

Hard to Say. NDP might not want the pipeline and since NDP leaders is in Bby if he works with Lib to pass the pipeline he can kiss good bye to his seat next election unless the Libs promise something that will greatly benefit Bby.

Greens will not work with Libs in anyway to get the pipeline built. And why would the Cons help Libs build the pipeline.

Chance of pipeline being built under this gov is pretty slim.
