Bull shit, highest value club can’t go on to long being irrelevant or it’s bad for business |
NYR are only the top rated team in worth because MSG is a publicly traded company... for pure hockey reasons Toronto is by far the highest value club in the NHL |
It's the same reason that the New York Knicks are highest valued NBA team even though their on-court product has been steaming rubbish for most of this century. |
They’ve been a “meh” franchise long before Sather left. Just the way they built their teams in the past Even with Lundquist as the anchor id argue that Luongo had a better overall career with very similar stats. |
-picking our Canucks to defeat the Blues if the team make theses adjustments while playing St. Louis: 1) Continue with quick breakouts from own zone. The Blues have a strong, physical forecheck. Our D-men need to get pucks from the corners and make a good outlet pass to the forwards. Forwards need to provide support to the d-men to get the puck out of their zone if the Blues forwards are preventing our d-men from getting the puck quickly. No pinching from the forwards. 2) Stay out of the penalty box. The guys, especially Myers, need to avoid taking undisciplined penalties. Myers took a ton of cross checking penalties in games vs. Minnesota. Myers needs to dial down the uncontrolled aggression. The Blues had the third best PP in the league this season, even with Tarasenko just playing ten games this season because of injury. 3) Consistent goaltending from Markstrom. Markie needs to step up his game against the Blues. None of this Jekyll and Hyde show of goaltending with a shutout against the Wild in game 3, followed by a shaky performance in game 4. |
not oilers, not leafs, and team that got it is out east. :fuckyea: |

hopefully the Canucks do better in that regard. Need our guys to find the back of the net! which hasn't been much of a problem, but the blues are a tougher team |
Going to triple OT for the CBJ/TB game now. It would be funny if CBJ sweeps them again.:lawl: |
Damn ... that's approaching 2 whole games. 58 & 42 SOG so far! Terrible to lose one like this but someone has to! |
Picking the Blue Jackets to beat Tampa. Hurricanes are my pick to beat Boston. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I was hoping Columbus would pull it off. Korpisalo and Jones deserved it. |
Holy mother of God ... 5OT? Is that a record ??!! |

-not the longest overtime NHL game. The fourth longest game in NHL playoff history. The Blue Jackets goalie Korpisalo sets a league record with 85 saves. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
