Anyone else trying to get all gold in the licenses in GT7?

Even with some of those B licence passing tests I’m gonna be throwing my controller through the TV before I get a gold in those lol

I stopped progressing the Menu Books at the Rally Car menu book, I am going back and getting gold and clean race bonuses where I can, including the Licenses. Its quite a challenge. I am going to start the Missions soon too.

I haven't had much problems getting gold in most licence but there's that one off-road one where you have to drive a Tundra. I'm sliding all over the place and there's no grip for me to get gold. Super frustrating.

Elden Ring patch came out, looks like it finishes some of the NPC questlines that people couldn't figure out.

* Added a function to record an icon and the name of an NPC on the map when you encounter that NPC.
* Added NPC Jar-Bairn.
* Added new quest phases for the following NPCs: Diallos/ Nepheli Loux/ Kenneth Haight/ Gatekeeper Gostoc.

I haven't touched the game since I beat it. Probably going to finish these questlines if I can and hopefully didn't get too far in the game. I'd be just reloading from before I chose the ending.

Patch 1.06 messed up a lot of the specialty tire license tests and missions. You get the stock tires (comfort hard/soft/sports hard/etc) instead of the tires specific to the trial (dirt/rain). Fixed now in 1.07 but the game has been offline for like the past day I think.

The last trial S-10 is another experience.

I've got a Pandora unit with Sanwa parts all around and an electric board I got on Amazon to use it as PC Joystick when not wanting to play Pandora. It's laying in the storage as I just don't have time to play with.

They also lowered credits to force players into microtransactions. Its pretty fucked. It was already a grind and they very purposefully made it harder.

Yeah, I picked up a LG C9 65" near the end of 2020.

Watching stuff in dark rooms is mega immersive and no more blooming. However, whites can sometimes look a bit grey depending on how much of the screen is that colour (think hockey) due to OLED brightness limitations.

I think 90% of the weight is in the stand :lol

So GT7 was a bust.... is a bust.

I ended up picking up Assetto Corsa Competezione for 40 bucks at london drugs, it has a PS5 upgrade. So good.

From what I hear, it's pretty bad aside from the actual racing (and even then, the AI is bad). Progression is slowed to a near halt, to be replaced by microtransactions. Oh and you can't sell cars anymore? Fuck that!

if it's that bad, does this mean ps5 users will revert back to a previous edition?
GT Sport? i think that's the only one on ps4, but i guess you'd need a disc edition

They seem like they want in this whole “car collection” thing to add those cafe blurbs about the vehicles etc. which are fine I like them actually the little history of hot hatches, mustangs, etc.

However those vehicles you get are mostly trash and you don’t do anything with them. I’m not gonna mod the old stingray corvette when I get a modern ZR1 as a different reward. Let me sell the stupid cars so I can actually buy and mod the cars I want not just stuck in this cycle of doing the races I’m guided to do

RETURNS SHOULD BE ALLOWED. This was rule back in the day when mod chips were a thing, and people used to pirate the shit out of games. This is now obsolete for the most part in this part of the world. NOW developers are using this to hold our money hostage. They are stealing from us with all these bait and switches.

Looks like that Ghost City Tokyo game is getting pretty bad reviews.

Watched a few videos on the game and it looked terrible (blown away how bad the game looks).

From shitty remakes/remasters, to overhyped bug fest AAA titles -- this current gen of titles has EASILY been the worst one yet.
