I guess it was too drastic of a change for me, 6MT V8 NA Coupe to a big fat 8AT V8TT truck. I felt that weight whenever I was braking and turning. It was just so floaty and IMO, boring. Launch control was fun though, but gas was also not cheap last year.

I had a Stage 1 tune on the X6, I think it was rated for 530awhp/580awtq.

Short clip from our late night modified JDM group meeting last month, missed the epic shots but at least I made it in the video!

Sold the quad, which freed up some space in the garage but left my enduro feeling lonely...

The wife = :rukidding: Me =

Might be experiencing only the gasoline-powered kind of excitement between my legs for awhile

Jeep is probably the only caveat to that statement. Granted I’d branch that out to almost any American vehicle.

Depends. Muscle cars and pickup trucks & body-on-frame SUVs = extremely reliable.
Economy cars, an unibody SUVS, not so much.

Even my trusty ol' Toyota needed a whole engine rebuild at something like 47,000 KM due to excessive oil consumption - not just mine, big problem with all those 2.4's.

Take the 911 to Area27! Even if you drive at 5/10ths its a lot of fun. Drive to/from is nice too. Just remember to distance as the hot spot Kelowna is not too far away.

The purple e36 owner is great guy in his 60s. Former tennis pro. Chris at CG worked on the car for it's life in Canada. If i remember clearly, its a former show car and had a widebody kit on it. The kit's fenders and Euro S50 were pulled (by CG?), and oem fenders and a Canadian spec S52 were put in. Car was daily driven year round around White Rock + Downtown until ~2016 when he got a GolfR daily.

So... got this scooter for free from a friend. It had been stolen twice in the month of June and he took it as bad juju and told me to come get it ASAP after the police recovered it.

Being a Honda guy, I am so happy. I immediately began cleaning and tuning it up. Probably the most satisfying thing to work on, and the most fun I have had on pavement in a long time. I feel so excited to get on it and ride Lol. It's a 80cc 2 stroke, 1983 Honda Aero 80. Long term plans over the winter is to paint it and get right cosmetically, but for now I want to just enjoy scooting with the squad and getting it to run like new again.

If you're available to go, go! It's an absolutely fantastic track, and Hwy 3 to get up there is a phenomenal drive in and of itself.

The 3 straights are way too much for my Miata to enjoy, but everything else is crazy fun. Turn 7 and Turn 6 are my favourite part of that track.

I'm at A27 Friday. My first time as well. Photo opp of yellow mk1 + mk2 on track together?

@topsycrett so it’s 80cc, you have your motorcycle license?

I had a Honda ruckus, I loved that thing so much. Best summer of my life

A Ruckus would be sweet. The first scoot I ever rode was one of those, and I instantly wanted one. Crazy how much they hold their value.

and no, I do not have my license.

Spoiler!

Yes, but your car has. :) Just keep an eye on the brake temps.

Totally worth getting your bike license anyways. The class is fun, and the refresher on defensive driving and vision awareness is so valuable for being on the road regardless.

I recommend Pacific Riding School. Great guys, fun bikes - and no issue getting past the ICBC tests.

(BTW - no going to make the track this weekend, too much stuff to do today, and I wouldn't be at my best leaving north van at 3am :(

Previous daily was a Fiat 500. Keeping up with the theme of small but practical cars, decided to go green and something more refined. FeelsGoodMan

^^ very interested to see how you like it. All non-car people rag on it similar to a smart car, but I’ve always liked the i3. I love the raw/natural materials used on the interior
