^ I have to say... that is an awesome SW20....

I usually dont like over the top, but shit that is seks. Man... if you are going for the F40 LM vibe... lol god damn!

It is one of those cars that I will pull over if I saw it parked on the street just to admire it for 5 min.

Well done sir!

I have an issue I reckon..my 5th vehicle this year. Planning on keeping this one around I swear! I've been told this is very indicative of "commitment issues". She has the V8 which is literally the worst thing imaginable on gas but at least she can pull things and haul ass on the trails.

7 seater, rebuilt tranny, 4x4 "minivan" with a roof basket and spotlights!

^ you should drive a V10 Excursion one day, you’ll be pretty happy with your V8 after that experience hahaha

You know the hilarious thing, good friend of mine has an F550 he hauls hay with, and a V10 excursion, the 550 never moves without a 40' gooseneck, loaded with hay the trailer is roughly 25,000lb's. Gets 8.7 mpg. V10 Excursion family hauler, never towed a trailer in its life? 8.9mpg. :lawl:

I remembered HATING those buckles when I was a kid. But after reading your comment, I can't argue the memory of the satisfying click.

77civic1200 07-30-2020 09:36 AM

^hated them cause they burnt the fuck out of you in the summer. I remember people making belt buckles out of them, maybe the late 90's?

GS8 07-30-2020 11:28 PM

Yeah playing hot potato with those buckles as a kid was entertaining at best. It's probably the most synonomous memory I have with roadtrips across BC & Alberta during the summer

- Stop at roadside rest area / tourist attraction
- Attempt to press buckle to release seat belt
- Burn self
- Exit car to enjoy the pit stop
- Get back in car
- Attempt to insert seat belt into buckle
- Burn self
- Repeat at next stop

Also, this talk of buckles reminds me of this now obscure ICBC mascot

I get it. The mustang is a free-roaming horse of the Western United States.

Not sure about later 350s but my dad's 330 was kinda a pig on gas, and the transmission seems like it's slowly on the way out after 225k. So I'm not sure how it will handle big tires and even harder driving. It's quite comfortable and I really like how soft the leather was.

The 90's and 00's V6's are all pretty bad on gas. Honestly if you get a current Honda V6 or Nissan V6 they are still bad.
