Can someone remind me why John Tavares left the Islanders to go to the Leafs?

He's a Toronto boy and grew up watching the Leafs.

At the end of the day, he went and lived his dream of being the Captain for his childhood team.

Price has come off as a jerk his whole career… even if he’s not actually one he’s done very little to push that impression aside.

I don't get why the Knights aren't absolute heels in the NHL. Fuck Vegas! Why should that city have a good hockey team, let alone one of the best in the league since their inception? It's basically a tourist attraction.
