Canucks need to at the very least string together a mini win streak.

The standings are so tight, it's easy to look "close" all the time, but actually gaining ground is the hard part.

Precisely ... you have to leap frog 2 other teams who are also chasing the 8th spot, playing their hearts out. So say the two teams in front of you are doing 6-4 over the last 10 ... you have to do 7-3 or 8-2 to gain ground ... that's why teams kinda know by trade deadline with less than 20 games remaining what the chances are.

The best bakery in town = Canucks.

The team’s shitty power play and PK were quite apparent in last night’s game vs the Blues.

Giving up the short handed goal and a St Louis PP goal are the nails in the coffin in terms of the chance of making the playoffs.
