Those losses against DET and Buffalo kinda sealed it for me

spoon.ek9 03-31-2022 02:30 PM

at least the $500 i spent on tickets were to see them win at home :alone:

valiant effort after such a shitty start. until next year...

mb_ 03-31-2022 02:33 PM

Hopefully a full season under Bruce there it is will lead us back to the playoffs... Benning and Green canning was too late

I've also pretty much given up hope of making the playoffs this year

They are right were I predicted they were. Fighting for a WC spot. So honestly I'm not too surprised

At the beginning of the season right? :okay:

Gumby 03-31-2022 10:37 PM

Kudos to the players for not immediately challenging Gudas to fight after that hit.

I think they did? He just turned them down and then turned to the puck

Lol this. I mean it was always going to be a long shot anyway but at around the time we played this stretch in order to get to I think it was 93 points or whatever the estimated amount of points needed the record we needed for the rest of the season was actually doable. Whether we would have actually made it despite hitting the point total is another story considering how many teams we needed to leap but still it was more than a mathematically chance but as soon as that happened yup I knew no chance in hell. :okay:

bobbinka 04-01-2022 09:34 PM

Wow

68style 04-01-2022 09:53 PM

Haha he had enough time to even just do a regular wraparound on that one. Get outta the way Milano.

RiceIntegraRS 04-01-2022 10:10 PM

attemped between the legs, then does that......

i just remember hoping he would fall to us at 10.

Think that made it even better that he had to do it around Milano.

Everybody was just on the wrong side watching

68style 04-03-2022 04:30 PM

Canucks first periods are just sooooo soooo bad

BlackV62K2 04-03-2022 05:04 PM

Canucks on par to just miss the playoffs again and also get a shit drafting position.

Hondaracer 04-03-2022 05:33 PM

So Pooleman is done then

AzNightmare 04-03-2022 09:09 PM

Can BoHo be any less clutch?

just need to drop couple more spots and we have chance of 1st overall...lol

so fucking bullshit how they change the rules after Rangers almost winning it twice haha

68style 04-04-2022 09:16 AM

I think it was more cuz Edmonton got it 3 years in a row? And 4 out of 6 if you count the all important McDavid year too.

pastarocket 04-05-2022 01:25 PM

The Ducks captain Getzlaf is retiring at the end of this season.

whitev70r 04-05-2022 01:56 PM

^ before Kesler?

68style 04-05-2022 02:11 PM

Yah cuz he’s got honour and doesn’t need to syphon money out of insurance / players fund by existing on paper

bobbinka 04-05-2022 03:57 PM

Getzlaf isn't injured and has been playing. His contract is done this year. Kes could no longer play while his contract was still in place. Different scenarios.

I dont know about you guys, but i'll gladly sit on IR and collect my $6.8mil/yr

68style 04-05-2022 03:59 PM

haha yah I can't blame him really... dumb contract by the Ducks.

And he could have hurt them retiring like Luongo did to us...

murd0c 04-05-2022 04:27 PM

If Kesler was to retire like Lu did then the Duck would get hit with a cap recapture penalty like we got hit since Lu just retired rather then going on LTIR which he could of.
