I always loved that GTR. I recall when i saw it back in 08 i said to myself, SELF youre gonna own one these one day and then you'll get mad pussy because bitches love nissans and loud ass exhausts (i was a huge nissan fanboy at the time) never pulled the trigger... though i did drive a few of them and went to a few of the GTR meats. https://i.postimg.cc/7PN0VxCG/IMG-20161007-190743.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/wTTJ4SJW/IMG-20161007-191017.jpg |

Unfortunately it only attracts the meat of the male variety..... (there are a couple of chicks here and there that "say" they like them.. but arent exactly car people) |
I am attracted. |

dat maseratiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii che bella :sweetjesus: |
Yeh I miss it too. the old man who picked her up was a marine pilot. aka he boards vessels and guides vessel into port |
He probably had a butt load of money to fix it. Or never drive it lol |
He’s pretty well off. Those guys make 300-500k a year. But I’m glad it went to a fellow enthusiast and also a marine industry guy |

I humm and haww on the GTR a lot. It’s in that upper realm of affordability for the used ones (common to see $75k) but I don’t think I could ever afford the repairs if anything went bad… so nah |
i thought they were pretty dang reliable. ive only heard of the first few years having "launch control" issues where they would void the warranty if you used it too much |
They’re not too bad, there’s a few common transmission issues like bell housing rattle and solenoids getting clogged up but they can be mitigated with intervention or ultimately fixed for a couple thousand. I don’t know that I would touch a modified one though, things go to shit real fast down that road (as with most cars). |
still kicking myself for not buying R32 when they were 20-30 or R33 GTR when they were 30-40k or R34 when they were 60+ stupid carflation. stupidhobz |
I'm still kicking myself for not buying an R32 when you could get a rough GTR for 6 and nice ones were in the low teens. I had one buddy trade his jet ski for one lol. |

Scary bit are the moded ones with power upgrades and no upgrades for transmission reliability. Got this one only because it was 1 owner, stock since day 1. Exhaust bolts, intake etc looked like never fettled with, so pulled the trigger. Tbh the car has more than adequate power for street flying use. 1000hp on stock motor is cool but compromises the drivability and every day use of these cars. Been dailying it for two weeks now and it’s a nice commuter. |

looks great man! is that 3M wrap? its pretty damn glossy looking too |
