I remember back in the day you just wait by the parking lot exit after a game at GM Place and some players will roll down their window and sign your stuff for free.

The Sedins one would have been an amazing one to go. Sedins and Luongo during that era almost never did signings so they were hard to get. I have a ton of Linden ones and even managed to get the famous Kirk and Linden picture signed even though I had to attend 2 different signings to get it done. Come to think of it there's a chance I actually don't have a skate Linden jersey let alone signed which seems crazy considering how many Linden things I had. I did manage to get a black skate signed by Bure though which was pretty sweet.

Time to get a little value out of that kuzy jersey then haha

We do take over 1st in the league with the point though. Yea we won't be staying there but still nice to see even if it'll be short lived.

I know there’s all this talk about OT and this re-grouping that goes on, but honestly in terms of the Canucks this is the first game I can remember with them involved with so much movement exiting the zone and regrouping etc.

Why was Joshua on with Petey in OT? Was he nervous to play with Petey? It's pretty much the exact same play as his first goal. He got the pass from Garland and took the shot and scored. I don't think Petey was expecting a pass back so deep in the slot.

Joshua played with Petey last year, he's got quite a bit of skill and his dekes are pretty crazy, but his vision is a little lacking

I feel like Petey was the one that fucked it up but yea, seemed like Petey was just saying shoot with that pass and not expecting it to come back to him

Joshua definitely should have taken the shot. Petey was in way too tight to make any moves by the time he got the pass. If anything, even a shot-pass would have been a smarter play. But it's ok, they woke up today in 1st place. I'm sure they would have loved the win but it's still a good morning overall for this team!
