Conversely, all those shitty non-playoff seasons we've had in the past, it was always towards the end of the year we played hard and beat all the top teams that were already locked in for playoffs. Still, I would be satisfied if we made it to round 2 this yr. |
Yah is everyone forgetting how the Canucks ran the table every year at the end of the season and fucked up our draft lottery odds for no reason? |
I'm just happy we're back in the playoffs and not just sneaking in but in a position to win the Division and at one point in serious contention to win the West or even the Presidents Trophy. Be it the Kings the Knights or whoever we play it'll be tough regardless. A 1st round exit is very much in the cards and I'd say the same even if we were playing well. I just hope we can continue to build and be a playoff team for some years to come. |
Hughes set his bar pretty high this year. The question remains will he be able to keep up this pace. He plays big mins. Around 24 mins per game. |
Fucking Stone has been cleared to practice This is so fucking gross |

Would be hilarious if Vegas continues their losing streak and Blues win the reminder of their games and take the last wild card spot |
How'd you like to be Mark Stone man making 7.35M a year and every year you don't even need to play for 2-3 months. |

26GP 13G, 9A Too bad he wasn't a good fit for Tocchet's system. I haven't really been checking up on Kuzmenko. I recall he had a slow start in Calgary. pointless in 6 games in a row, and now he has 14 pts in the last 8 games. On a bit of a heater. |
He's also getting all his points on the powerplay and he's a -10 since he got to Calgary |

He's on their 1st line and 1st PP unit I believe. Of course some really want to push the we (Calgary) won the trade narrative but this was a trade where both teams needed to get something done and both achieved it so regardless who player success both teams win. We gained over 5mill in cap space for this year and next and Calgary got some assets back for a player on an expiring contract. I think most people liked Kuz and want to see him do well, no but hurt if he tears it up over there good on him. |
will also have to see how well lindholm does in playoffs, plus whether he signs an affordable extension or walks into UFA. |
Point blank chance for Mikheyev in front of the Oilers net. Another weak sauce shot from him. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
