No point spending double / triple for "logo" brands. Seems to be best bang for your dollar.

Average price seems to be $120 for these. The Marshall I'm looking at is $100 off at $150! Seems like a decent buy imo lol.

Anyone have suggestions for a bluetooth speaker? Looking for something that won't take up a ton of space. Ideally something that would fit easily on a washroom counter. Bonus points if it's stylish too.

Other than that, no idea what I want/need to buy. Maybe some over the ears headphones? Wouldn't mind a set for long haul flights.

We have a Flip 5 we use when we travel or camp. It's been great, large sound for such a small thing. I have no problems with the style but I do wish it didn't bulge out and instead stayed a true cylinder.

Go test it out if you can. Money doesn't always mean better with speakers.

I have a weird tendency to collect small Bluetooth speakers from like the size of a thumb up to a Klipsch Three Heritage… my favourite one sound wise out of all the ones I have is a medium size Sony tube one. They don’t sell it anymore but the equivalents are probably these 2:

https://www.amazon.ca/Sony-SRS-XE300...I_3M_AUTOMATED

I would highly recommend the Sony in your price range based on the 15 or so speakers I have.

I’ve also heard other peoples JBL’s and agree they offer good performance for the price too. I have on and off thought of getting a Marshall but wasn’t blown away trying them out in stores in years past. They could have updated their tech though, I stopped buying any after realizing I had a problem lol.

You could always buy like 3… JBL, Sony and Marshall and try them all out and return 2 if you can’t get into a store to try them out I guess!

Crapple has a black Friday event too. Dont forget to use the "education discount" (i got my mac for like 200 bucks cheaper with the education discount and they dont even require any proof of you being a student) before you check out

whitev70r 11-23-2024 08:42 AM

^ you educate us. That should count.

Fuck so Amazon now has a 4am - 8am delivery window.. not sure if this is due to Canada post strike or Black Friday or what

So I ordered a few things last night and at 4am this morning my wife wakes up to someone running up out front steps she’s like wtf. Looks at the cameras and it’s a guy with bundles of packages in his arms at 4:15 lol

dark0821 11-23-2024 11:40 AM

Damn thats a hussle, I assume that guy started at like 2am or 3am at the warehouse loading his van? Or you are like the 1st house 3 blocks from one of the warehouses?

Hondaracer 11-23-2024 11:58 AM

Nah nowhere near any wharehouse so who knows when he started or if he’s just swapping the van somewhere mid-trip with another driver

Badhobz 11-23-2024 12:00 PM

More profits to be made with no traffic and smaller fuel bill

punkwax 11-23-2024 12:38 PM

That 4AM-8AM window got me a LoudCup in time for my boy’s hockey game.

Bambu Labs is selective on who sells there machines. Good thing they have a warehouse in BC so shipments are really fast.

Just bought these. I didn’t really think or look how many 22 wrenches were. Super happy with the purchase when it arrived. Packed up my garage in storage l and didn’t pack any metric wrench to work on the Datsun.so got a new set. Great test results.

Yup same been selecting this option in East Van on days that I know I'm going in the office and it's been sweet waking up in the morning and getting my shit before I head out. Sure, for the more paranoid this could be easy pickens for those late night baddies roaming around the streets checking for unlocked doors but I'm generally not ordering anything pricey. For me I've been seeing this option for probably 2 months now

N.V.M. 11-24-2024 07:26 AM

some of these early delivery drivers use their own vehicles. i was coming around the house one mornnig at 5 am, on the way to work, and saw a beater out front and this kid 1/2 way up the yard. if i was american, i could have shot him.

Eff-1 11-24-2024 11:38 AM

Looking for an electric pressure washer for around the yard. Don't need more than 2000 psi, but hoping for something with variable pressure settings. Any recommendations?

Eff-1 11-24-2024 11:38 AM

Also a garden hose. 75 ft would be good.

GS8 11-24-2024 12:10 PM

Speaking of JBL and soundbars

https://ca.jbl.com/en_CA/BAR-1000-.html

47% off. Whether you buy direct or go to Best Buy, it's the same discount.

Gerbs 11-24-2024 06:55 PM

Is that JBL better than most $1,000 Sonos's?

red kryptonite 11-24-2024 09:33 PM

do u guys use power snow shovel, or have experience with one?
considering this one at CT

https://www.canadiantire.ca/en/pdp/m...rq=snow+shovel

yray 11-24-2024 10:35 PM

I got the snowjoe, problem is it blows forward and eventually you run out of space to blow it to. it can chew through a foot of powder with ease, 6in of slush, shoots it 8-10ft away.

Matsuda 11-24-2024 11:43 PM

holy shit, been trying to read mattress reviews and this is an even worse experience than trying to buy a car. I'm no closer to choosing a mattress to get than I was 6 hours ago.

Klondike 11-24-2024 11:50 PM

That's why you gotta go in-person to test drive at least 2 with the wifey
