I came across something similar in Zim when I was there:

They are relaxing to watch. Such a simple life.. until they get eaten.

Gold Coast is beautiful but probably the most expensive place in OZ by far. Tons of nice cars around, hotels are 500+ for pretty average accommodation, and the food is extremely expensive.

bcrdukes 04-13-2025 02:32 PM

From what you described and shared, Gold Coast looks and sounds just like Vancouver. :troll:

Also, the guy on the jet ski in your photo. I can't tell if he's depressed or enjoying life. :suspicious:

Badhobz 04-13-2025 05:38 PM

Probably depressed.

I think the fuckers here had their brains melted by the constant sun.

The road network was designed by a British meth head. The usage of insane round abouts, abrupt lane closure and ridiculous speed limit signs (like it’ll show 80kph limit and 100m later it’ll show a corner for 20kph) makes absolutely no sense. How about merge 5 lanes into 2 for no reason and then open back up to 4 lanes just for lawls.

That’s what you get when using penal labor. The term slack jawed yoko applies so well to these people. It’s water. It has a T in it. Why the fuck do you pronounce it wahdur?!? Yeeehh nuuhhhh, all these blondes are great to look at but as soon as they open their mouth I wanna shove my dick in it just to prevent their stupid “language” from escaping.

bcrdukes 04-13-2025 09:57 PM

Sounds like they designed their speed limits to reflect the quality of British cars and janky Beetles.

I woke up early to go take shots again. Man, oh man, I love Richmond. Wildlife is literally at your doorstep.

Time to clean your sensor Badhobz

Badhobz 05-04-2025 02:48 PM

It’s not the sensor it’s the lens. I didn’t even bother cleaning it after I came back from Gold Coast. Full of sea water spray

77civic1200 05-04-2025 05:44 PM

The dark spots in that first pic is sensor dust, the dust on a lens won't show up in photos unless its like glare from direct light. Take a shot of a bright white wall or something, at f16 or higher, swap lenses and do it again. All those dark spots will stay in the same position

Badhobz 05-04-2025 05:47 PM

ohhh i didnt know this. i thought it was always some dust/debris on my lens. Thanks bud! Appreciate the tips.

77civic1200 05-05-2025 09:04 AM

I saw an article probably 20 years ago with photos taken through a 50mm lens that had the front element destroyed, looked like a spider web it was cracked so many times, and as long as there wasn't direct light on the element you could barely tell in photos. Changed how I felt about dust in the lens after that.

This is similar, but less cracked

You can probably get the dust off with a Giottos Rocket Air Blower

The URL shows something along the lines of large and black. Could it be mikemhg?
