after watching most of the 18 innings last night, i think im gonna watch more hockey today |
K i lied im watching baseball |
If all goes well, you should be able to watch both. Maybe 3rd period of Canucks vs. Rangers? |
Landon Ferraro sounds like Canadian Kermit |
Garland out? lol. Its going to be like last year where all the guys are injured then come back for the olympics and then Canucks do a last min push and then miss the playoffs. Then blames the outcome on injuries. |
I don’t know why Garland is out, he did get smoked on a huge hit that popped his helmet off but he played for quite awhile after that too and didn’t look any worse for wear. |
Sucks for season ticket holders. They are paying extra this year to see the abby Canucks. Lol. When you can watch them for $30 in abby. |
A big sigh of relief for the team and its fans: https://www.sportsnet.ca/nhl/article...d-not-serious/ Rick Dhaliwal @DhaliwalSports · Hearing Conor Garland is not serious but also hearing he is not going on the road trip. Will have more on the show. Despite this, Dhaliwal further reports that Garland will not be travelling with the team on their upcoming three-game road trip. In what appears to be a related move, forward Mackenzie MacEachern was recalled and forward Nils Aman was reassigned to AHL Abbotsford. Garland exited against the Rangers after the second period, though it was not immediately clear when he was hurt. He was on the receiving end of a big hit from Rangers forward Sam Carrick in the first period. After the game, head coach Adam Foote told reporters that Garland was still undergoing evaluation. The Canucks are already dealing with a host of injuries, with captain Quinn Hughes sidelined in addition to Filip Chytil, Jonathan Lekkerimaki, Teddy Blueger, Victor Mancini, Derek Forbort and Nils Hoglander. |
Just saw the replay now on Boeser's injury. Dude took Petey's shot in the dick :lol |
Sherwood with 2 goals tonight! |
Who needs a 1c when you have 1chief |
Make that a hat trick for Sherwood. |

Oh no! Another injury. Boeser got injured during his first shift today. -injured by one of our d-men. https://www.sportsnet.ca/nhl/article...uck-vs-blues/? Forward Brock Boeser exited in the first minute of play against the St. Louis Blues on Thursday after taking a hard shot to the midsection from defenceman Elias Pettersson. The 28-year-old was helped down the tunnel by the training staff and did not return to the game. The Canucks confirmed Boeser would not return early in the second period but did not disclose any other information about the injury. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
SO WIN! |
Lol, Debrusk made that look so easy |
DeBrusk! Shootout winner! Good game from Lankinen. Big saves from him during the shootout. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
Sherwood is on pace to score 60+ goals. Pay this guy 11.6m |
Sherwood 3 goals, 1 post, 1 post in SO, insane shot |
Petey and Chief Kief only cost $13.1mil, what a steal |
Sherwood, tied for league lead in goals! Extend this guy so I can go buy his jersey :high: |
Sherwood pricing him out of Canucks. I hope he score 60 goals and get a big fat contract on another team. Since it will be his last. |
With recent big ticket players taking discounts, hopefully we can sign him for something like 4-5M at most. That would be a sweet deal I'd accept. Anything north of 6M I'd unfortunately let him walk. If he were a bit younger I'd do more. |
He's not getting more than Garland's $6mil, who has been a consistent performer. That's insane. Even if this year is Sherwood's breakout year, it's only a 1 year anomaly. I think 3 to 4 mil like Dakota Joshua's contract is what he would get max. In any case, need to keep him. He's going to be one of those heart guys for the team, drag them into the fight when they're not going. The great thing is that he was a skill player, but changed his game to make it in the NHL. I think giving him more top 6 minutes to play to get his confidence to be a skill player again would be great. |
It was my initial thought to play him on the right wing with Petey prior to them going with Garland. I think he fits in with Petey as a rough and tumble forechecker who can retrieve pucks but also has great finish. Don't get me wrong, I've liked Garland with him too but I think Sherwood has a much more powerful shot and quicker release. |
