I don't think Belicheck is gonna go with a passing scheme for his offensive play packages. Their running backs Blount and Ridley scored all six if their TDs vs. Indy last week.
Why change the formula for success? Brady doesn't have many weapons on WR other than Edelmann and Amendola.

Exactly it for me, they can be up by 30 points with 2 minutes left and he'll still be bitching and complaining about something. The Vikings and yes they are shit. Got a new coach today not that it's going to matter as they don't have a Quarterback. If any of you have never been to a Hawks game I'd highly recommend it. We made a weekend out of it, was an awesome time. The fans where we were sitting were awesome as well. Every concussion is different...Sometimes you can be good to go in a couple days, sometimes it can take months before you fully recover.

"The thing that I think is important here is you don't manage concussions by a calendar," Dr. Herring said. "Some guys may come back in a week. Some guys may come back in six weeks. These steps don't have an expiration date on them. The player's history of injury and other issues come into play."

There's a general consensus on how you can evaluate a good corner and that's how the defensive coach plays him.

If you're good, ie. richard sherman, peterson, revis (before he got injured), you don't get any safety help and they put you all alone with the other teams best receiver. Talib plays man coverage with no safety help all the time.

go watch the patriots/ saints game. chris colinsworth basically says he thinks Talib is one of the best corners in the league, he was assigned to play jimmy graham all game and I believe he held jimmy graham to no catches in that game.

God- absolutely picture-perfect hit. No helmet to helmet garbage. Just a solid shoulder to the body to dislodge the ball.

What a game. I like both teams, but cheer on the Hawks a bit more as they're more local. I had a sick feeling during that last minute drive by Kaep. With those first downs and time running down I thought, "man they're going to get it done." Then Sherman decides to clutch up. Though Crabtree was technically correct saying that he didn't make many plays aside from the one that mattered, I don't think Kaep threw his way at all during the game.

Can't wait for the big game! As much as Peyton likes to chuck the ball, I think he might be in trouble against the Hawks secondary while fighting a potential cold-weather situation as well.

There may be more to the grudge between 49ers receiver Michael Crabtree and Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman than what we saw on the field.

Sherman’s older brother, Branton, told Jerry Brewer of the Seattle Times that it was Crabtree who started the animosity between the two of them, several months ago. Branton Sherman says that both Richard Sherman and Crabtree attended Cardinals receiver Larry Fitzgerald’s charity event over the summer, and that when Sherman approached Crabtree to shake his hand, Crabtree tried to start a fight.

According to the report, Sherman’s response to that was, “I’m going to make a play and embarrass him.”

Sherman did make plenty of plays on Sunday, and afterward he called Crabtree a “sorry receiver.” Crabtree may be sorry he ever faced off with Sherman, either on the field or off.

^I'm not quite a Hawk homer just yet, but just thinking about Peyton's past playoff performances and Seattle's excellent defense, I think Peyton may have a few picks to throw in the SB.

As scary as Seattle's offence has been the past month or so, they've been playing top 8 NFL defenses a lot lately. I'm not saying that they'll explode against the Broncos, but they should have an easier time moving the ball against the Broncos compared to say, Carolina/NO/SF. It's also expected that Harvin is going to make it to the SB, so that's another weapon to add for the Hawks.

I think it's almost a pick'um. I'd give a slight edge to the Hawks and their defensive playmakers.

I was thinking about this game this morning, comparing both teams. Is it just me, or are they completely opposite in how the teams are perceived. Seahawks are an exciting, young team with no players with SB experience. Just about every position has a guy who stands out as being exciting and new compared to average teams. They have a beast for RB, a QB who can scramble out of anything and still throw accurately, and a world famous DB crew.

Broncos on the other hand have a decent to good team (with a very good offensive line), and Peyton Manning. All their playoff games have been pretty boring, as they just go on these long drives... Yes it's dominating, but sometimes dominating can be boring. When the Seahawks dominated the 49ers at the beginning of the season, or last year in December, it was awesome. When the Broncos dominated the Patriots and the Chargers (for 3 quarters) it was just... Manning yelling Omaha a bunch of times and throwing perfect passes.

I guess I just think the Broncos are a dull team that will fall off the face of the earth once Manning retires.

Unless he gets a headache, as a Viking fan who has watched every NFL game he's played in there is one thing I know about Percy and it's there is no telling what you're gonna get until you get it. Normally reserved 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick had plenty to say today, sending some pointed words at Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman.

The last we saw Kaepernick, he was throwing a game-ending interception in the NFC Championship Game, which was followed by Richard Sherman making the choke sign in his direction and then starting the post-game interview rant heard ’round the world.

“Did that make you feel better about yourself? Then go ahead. Because I’m not worried about you,” Kaepernick said, via Bart Hubbuch of the New York Post.

Kaepernick had several other choice words for Sherman, including:

— “He’s afraid of our receivers, and that’s something I’m looking forward to [exploiting] next year.”

— “If I throw that ball one foot farther, it’s a TD and now you’re the goat, Richard Sherman.”

— “His comments were ridiculous. If you have to tell people how good you are, then how good are you really?”
