no idea, depends how much i feel comfortable tuning to... i'm MAF limited to about 400hp, and stock internal limited to about 500whp, so i'm going to be somewhat conservative for now and see what i can make just running the wastegate spring, which is 7 psi... that's if i can ever get the fking thing back together... it's always the little shit that delays you!

down_hill_dog 08-04-2007 10:14 AM

i like the corolla. very cool cars

underscore 08-04-2007 10:31 AM

nice rolla!

Therin 08-04-2007 12:18 PM

so much money put into such an ugly car.
better drift it or your just wastin your money.

Delerious 08-04-2007 12:26 PM

no need for hatin' on the rolla dude...

tossed a new filter on the GTI today, old one, which was originally red, was black... had an extra one sitting around so i decided to let the vr6 breathe a little easier :)

bmxkelowna 08-04-2007 01:48 PM

that gti is vr6 swaped? nice man thats on of the best sounding motors out there

007WRX 08-05-2007 10:42 AM

Logan Zac and I installed some Cusco coilovers in my subie!

Pics to follow.

Delerious 08-05-2007 10:43 AM

yep it is vr6 swapped... i'll stop by the auto-x this week maybe to give everyone a look at it lol

Delerious 08-05-2007 09:48 PM

heat shield for the filter... those vr6's run HOT, so she needed some protection

underscore 08-06-2007 12:29 AM

ColinK 08-06-2007 08:03 AM

how do oyu drive home without them completely installed? missing one of them? then shouldn't it be 75% done? hahah :p

down_hill_dog 08-06-2007 08:34 AM

yikes dude. thats sounds sketchy as HELL

underscore, do you have ANY mechanical knowledge and experience to be doing such a thing to another car yiou don't have to drive.

G Hawk 08-06-2007 11:28 AM

it was just one of the bolts were tight is fuck! we couldn't do anything about it. that's why i decided to leave that one for the shop. I even hurt my back trying too hard to unscrew the damn thing

Delerious 08-06-2007 12:34 PM

which bolt was it? did you use pb blaster on it? big ass breaker bar and hitting it with a hammer?

you'd be amazed at what you can do without an impact wrench... just have to learn to feel when it's going to break vs break loose!

wow someone else knows about this. that stuff is awesome

bmxkelowna 08-06-2007 05:36 PM

i wont use any thing but

underscore 08-06-2007 10:39 PM

we had my big breaker bar and that would just get the nut and bolt to rotate a little bit but not loosen. so we had one of us hauling on that with the other one hauling on a regular ratchet. we also drowned it in WD40.

the only other thing left to be done is plug the electonics into the struts themselves...and it looks like you need to drill holes for the rears.

and yes I have mechanical knowledge and experience. He needed the room and tools to do the install and noone else was offering so I did.

007WRX 08-08-2007 04:46 PM

Got an alignment today.

-2.0 camber in the front
-1.5 in the rear
0 toe
