tessted the nitrous today holy fuck, my centerforce dual friction clutch slips like a bitch.clutch worked properly once, couldnt even get traction in third.:damn: :buttrock: :haha:

Saturn2nr 07-22-2005 07:13 PM

Get an ACT clutch. All other saturn clutches are garbage. close to stock pressure plates. Where as the ACT uses a stronger pressure plate similar to an SR20.. or you could just get the 6puck ACT version

netfreak 07-22-2005 10:46 PM

gotta fix a coolant line.. sitting at a red light and i notice smoke coming out the hood scoop. coolant was dripping down onto the exhaust

What what..another 240...anyways upgraded all the stereo componets in the 240, 4 Compoents and 2 10" Subs, New exhaust tip, Ordered new coilovers, TEIN Flex...

2.5FearFactory 07-23-2005 11:10 PM

why bother w/ a new exhaust tip if you're going SR20DET anyways? not hating...just wondering :)

HyperREV 07-23-2005 11:54 PM

and why do you need 2 subs in a 240? one is more than good enough in a hatch...

NismoKa 07-24-2005 12:09 AM

RMS 13... you weren't the guy that came in my shop the other day and bought the speakers were you?

I will be running 1 15" in a sealed box....should be way more than enough in the hatchback... Wanting to do a dual 8" setup. Thats a winter project though.

2.5FearFactory 07-24-2005 09:13 AM

thank you :D

Did some tuning on the FC today. got the timing dead on, idle is about right.. a bit rough. Gotta get the TPS set properly. at idle it it sounds awsome. really deep, chunky tone. Throttle response it WAY better, took it for a rip around the block and when turning to get back on to my street it took nothing to kick out the backend. I love RWD. :D

I was in lordco one day, and i saw the muffler and it had no box so i got a bit off, and it was fairly cheap so, what the ell i said...and thats how it began....
I will have to change any ways, probably to a apex'i N1.. but this saves me from...."your a ricer" state of mind

2.5FearFactory 07-24-2005 11:57 PM

sweet :) when are you planning on tossing the SR in there?

SaviorSelf_666 07-25-2005 10:42 AM

Well i pretty much hold on the Sr for 2200 but i need to fix other things like the suspention, i had Eibach sportline springs, but the oem shocks didnt hold up, so i just ordered some tein coilovers..im planning to have the sr swap all done by summer of next year

netfreak 07-25-2005 01:05 PM

ever consider turboing the ka24? http://www.ka-t.org/jordan/

proshoraca 07-25-2005 06:07 PM

netfreak 07-25-2005 11:56 PM

oh i get it. so you're a bandwagoner? :p

i'm not too familiar with the nissan motors but i'd imagine you have way more options with the sr20

2.5FearFactory 07-26-2005 09:58 AM

:lol on the Island 240s are selling better now than when they were brand new haha..I swear to god every week someone else buys a 240 w/ SR dreams ;) Can't blame'em though...B-series Hondas and SR 240s are probably the 2 best deals (bang for buck) in the import world...

Mattster 07-26-2005 10:42 AM

Mod of the day was a autoxer's old magnaflow catback. Before craig see's me somewhere YES it is loud. Alot louder then I thought it would be actually, even though I have a header and a high flow cat.
