Same thing happend to MR2 Turbos ... once the JDM ones were available for import the values dropped in half.

Mod of the day:

-Split my new temporary tranny to make sure things were okay
-Pulled bearing and speedo ring gear off the stock diff to put onto new diff :)
-Acid cleaned/hot pressure washed the tranny case. Wondering if I should paint it?

why not, decreases the chance of it rusting...although i dont think i've ever seen a tranny rust.

Was just thinking of painting it to make it look new again. :p

aluminum trans... It wont rust. keep it clean silver alum

I'd say keep it clean, and leave it silver aluminum.. or paint it flat black.

I'll most likely leave it since I'm sure I'll be pulling it out again over winter.

Unbolted exhaust off the talon and dropped the transfer case so I could find out which tranny I need to buy to replace the busted up one in the talon.......Yes, I have 2 cars with busted trannies, the only reliable one now is the good ol honda slushbox automatic in the civic :D

Debadged trunk, fog covers and de pillared the front grill and subaru emblem.

modded new open dif with 4.11's and modded a busted brake line, grgrrrrrrrrrr.

put my starter in yesterday and now i got crank but no start... the starting issues with the car is unbelievable.

Nice Man! I can't wait to get a new grill and not badge it! ...Just kinda wish I could debage the trunk without the help of a bodyshop :p

re-dialed the suspension for higher speed corners over the weekend. apparently it was setup as a crazy drifto car.

im going to say it was past drifto and right into donut mode.

Took my fenders off today to do a little trimming to the stock fenders to take full advantage of the flares.

I'm still too scared to cut the rears, so for now i've rolled them even further than before.

Did a semi-full clean up of my car, it was way overdue. I can't wait to get my lips back from the bodyshop, touch up my stone chips, and give the whole car a 3 stage treatment.

lol so the open diff is in the truck and rockin some serious one tire action. super gay having only one goin.

Replaced rad-hoses. Had a fallout and came close to overheating the engine the other night.

messed around with my gas pedal tonight... now the car actually goes wot, I'd say it was 15% closed the way it was before... whole different animal now!

Ordered a CAI for the Car tonight....first mod... such a magical moment.
