Went to PYP with a few buddies and grabbed a few things for my buds lude.

Ended up getting a hood, passenger side quarter window *went through 7 trying to get it :(* covers for the flip up lights, driver quarter panel, passender tail-light, a pair of near new drums, and new looking pistons for the read shoes. Also got 2 of those seals that go between the carbs and the intake manifold. Found a near new cat back exaust which we're getting on wednesday.

oh, cant forget... Got a ricer exaust off of a automatic corolla with a home made body kit on it... its new home is now on the back of a 88 cavalier

well, i think it was a corolla^^^

netfreak 03-02-2005 04:18 PM

did 2.5" piping with no cat or resonator with a magnaflow muffler. umm its loud. next up, turbo parts.

Tchleung 03-02-2005 04:19 PM

It'll be alot louder ocne you turbo. But I would still slap a resonator in there when you can. makes it sound betetr and quieter

2.5FearFactory 03-05-2005 07:58 AM

well...finally decided on some tires....Falken Ziex 512s....gonna see if my buddy who works for a dealership can beat the tiretrends price, if not then I'm ordering ASAP :D ....either way they should be here next week :D

Chandler 03-05-2005 10:18 AM

installed a Fram Air Hog air filter. I figure it will pay itself off after i dont have to replace cheap paper ones.

replaced fuel filter. I love cheap fixes like that, made quite the difference in throttle response.

replaced broken wheel stud

next up, new tie rods, and upper ball joints

Tchleung 03-05-2005 03:41 PM

Cut and welded new IC piping from IC to TB side. Only have pics of when in tacked stage. Fully welded now. Click thumbnails for uber big pics

got some camber adjustable bolts for my front struts, threw em in.. went to kal tire for a 4wheel alignment....
turns out my rear wheels were toed in 3/4 of an inch... no wonder the tires started cupping and it always cornered like a plow machine
so got the front camber at -0.6 degrees and rear at -1.8 with toe zeroed out....

it feels like a new car now, corners are grippy and almost to the point of a bit of oversteer finally! A lot less of a slug that's for sure

ahh man seriously get some caber/caster plates for up top. camber eccentric bolt are ooogly way of correcting camber. and it sucks if you go to take apart your suspension, casue you loose your alignment

jeffh 03-11-2005 10:41 PM

gutted the car, finished the battery box install, maybe pics later

rmtsi 03-12-2005 06:56 AM

fourtirefire 03-12-2005 08:04 AM

do i see a snapped bolt and stud in your turbo??

Delerious 03-12-2005 10:18 AM

new, larger throttle body... 9" cone filter... quite a noticeable gain in the low end... stock airbox was way too restrictive.

Tchleung 03-12-2005 02:18 PM

Woo nice. haven't seen too many actually modifed DSms. Nice Intake manifold. What's the specs on the turbo?

fourtirefire 03-12-2005 06:00 PM

todays mods:
vacumed and dusted the interior for the first time since last fall..
washed and waxed the exterior
removed power steering pump in attempt to get proper torque on exhaust manifold, then re-installed.

NO, its just mocked up right now

Turbo's just your basic t3/t4. .60 ar comp. housing with a 46 trim wheel and a .63 ar turbine with stage 3 wheel

Tchleung 03-12-2005 06:42 PM

Nice. Quite a bit larger then the stock 14B :D

Just looked on the site. Looks good man.

2.5FearFactory 03-13-2005 03:51 PM

w00t...bought and installed an MP3 deck...finally I can have some tunes again :D got a wicked deal on it too :D

Tchleung 03-16-2005 05:41 PM

Recently isntalled new Brembo rotors. New driver rear caliper. stainless steel brake lines. Speed bleeders. And Hawk pads in the rear(already got them in front). Gonna be using Dot 4. Repainted calipers silver again since past job was shotty...

On a side note... Got my 3" mandrel exhaust today :D

I would post pics... But my camera seems to be lost on the other side of the world at the moment :'(

2.5FearFactory 03-17-2005 09:45 AM

G2T: sounds good :D

As for me...started pricing out my stroker kit ;) Gotta love domestics...the same motor that I have...the famous Iron Duke, was also slapped into boats....with a 3.0L crank :D So I'm gonna do a ghetto stroker...should be fun...oh...and 350 pistons slide right into my block :D
