No Nascar here, it's Cascar! hahah... So you actually had it juiced? how was it? Get some pics of the wheels on when they are all painted :D

down_hill_dog 05-12-2005 02:12 PM

it was juiced and it was preety sweet, did'nt notice the gains i shoiuld have because of the stock airbox and stuff.

As for the wheels, The clearcoat finish was fucked so they have to be painted. But i am not sure what color i should go with? just silver, or with some kind of gunmetal or somthing.

Mod of today, put azenises on my stock swirlies

cant open its eyes properly, or close... or.. something like that... hah. but i know what he did

NismoKa 05-12-2005 06:38 PM

Easy mod, you can just interrupt the headlight motor relay and stop them wherever you like. Looks good if you position them right.

fourtirefire 05-12-2005 11:45 PM

performed the sleepy eyes mod...
and vented my BOV to the atmosphere

and the problem with doing that is?

oh wait it doesn't involve wasting tremendous amounts of money on something pointless that i'll probably reverse or remove sometime down the road, rendering the $ spent useless

down_hill_dog 05-13-2005 07:28 PM

Danny does have a point.

well it depens how you look at things. i dont see it being pointless if your gonna leave the light sleepy all the time and still want to be able to have the full open fuction at night. but if your only doing it for the day then i see what you mean

fourtirefire 05-14-2005 09:51 AM

the lighting almost seems better at night with them up half way, plus the way they are designed to be on all the time with the ignition on.. means they are on in the day behind that plastic lense, not getting any air to cool the beams down, which is probably why they burn out so prematurely in that car.

I've done the mod the proper way. you tap into the headlight relay near the battery tray. you splice in 2 switches between the relay to adjust both the height and one to adjust if they are on or off. This way it dont' heat up when you don't want them too.

There is a wiring diagram somewhere on the net.

girlcrazy_4 05-14-2005 07:20 PM

Did a few things to the "zoozoo" tonite. Put the stock wheels back on with decent rubber, fixed the interior door handle, washed the body, detailed the interior, installed a clarion deck along with 4 clarion speakers and a PG 10" sub, put the centre consal back together, put a new shift boot on with the proper adapter plate, and dented the exaust pretty good when it bottomed out in the driveway.

got drunk and took apart my spare intake manifold... now its in pieces all over my garage so i might as well clean it out and ghetto bore the throttle body out a bit and throw it in the lude

girlcrazy_4 05-16-2005 12:46 AM

A buddy stopped up at 11pm saturday night and wanted to switch over his intake manifold on his lude since the carb>intake seals were fubard and the nuts were stript.

We ended up pulling off the whole head and wanted to put on a replacement head with better looking/cleaner cams, but the valves themselves on the spare head were fucked. Covered in grim and oil buildup.

We ended up putting the old head back on with the new intake mani. We used the old head bolts, all the old gaskets etc etc since it was hitting 3am and we were only half finished.

Got everything back together in the end, ended up only having a handfull of spare bolts and nuts, few extra coolant hoses... and she fired right up once we got the firing order straitened out. I must say, "job accomplished" not very well mind you... but atleast I remembered to mark the timing belt and cam gear before we ripped shit off.

fourtirefire 05-16-2005 06:51 AM

there are no such things as cranks in a cylinder head

oh.. and re-using gaskets... hello leaks

girlcrazy_4 05-16-2005 08:47 AM

my bad. I meant 'cams'

SpooSports 05-16-2005 11:26 AM

Well i did some dodge maintanance.

-Put in about 2 or 3 liters of oil( does my engine burn oil or what)
-Topped up coolant.
-Re wired my inverter and installed my new warrenty'd inverter.
-took out my headlight, re-siliconed the whoal thing and siliconed the bulb in, water kept getting in and popping bulbs.
-Cleaned all the shit out of my toolbox/box of my truck

Now im DVD/Ps2 Rockin once again.:)

Big Daddy 05-16-2005 02:58 PM

Did some more rust control on the Van today, sealed the front floorboards and cut out the last rusted out parts of the cargo floor, now waiting for it to be welded :D

are you serious? re-read what you just wrote... are you trying to be a dumb ghetto ass bitch or what? If your doing a head rebuild the gaskets usually equal the price of the rebuild. i am still shaking my head from the time i read this.. it'll be interesting to see where your at in 10-15 years.. seriously

jeffh 05-16-2005 07:57 PM

basically i wonder how this prelude we keep hearing about is running. i guess its a testament to hondas, they can survive even the dumbest owners
