[edit]

it was rusted ass chrome.

RRxtar 05-22-2005 12:40 PM

bluebomber85 05-22-2005 07:38 PM

okay so i went even further, i cleaned up the firehazard known as my "audio section" and added a pioneer cd player.. fucking rights doggy. if anyone wants to steal it, it's only held in by a CUSTOM piece of MDF and with some screws and a twist tie, looks pretty toight tho. bring it on nukka.

What are you using for a boost controller?

future mod of the day for me as well on teh asap

down_hill_dog 05-24-2005 02:08 PM

what will this do for the car if you get rid of all the plastic snaking in the car?? i still want to keep the stock asirbox and all, maybe a little sound would be good. will it get as good of airflow? just curious

Dirt Rider 05-24-2005 02:26 PM

i never plan on going back to the stock airbox.. hell i dont even have one.. so leaving all the tube and baffles in the rad support.bumper kinda thing is usless to me.. cleans it up.. and saves yoiu half a pound haha..

down_hill_dog 05-24-2005 03:24 PM

oh... well i'd do it if it did'nt hinder the airflow to the stock airbox, i would'nt want togo slower because right now it is the same speed as your car with all those fancy bolt ons.. hahaha

Dirt Rider 05-24-2005 03:31 PM

hah all it really has is a AEM intake.. airmass header = crap and hardly better then stock.. but still. .new driver , decent traction now with some half ass tires.. we'll see how she goes..

and for you, id possibly leave it in if you want the stock air box, its bringin in fresh air from outside the engine bay.. even if it has to go through all those twists and turns.. its still fresh air.. also wer eback to whats better. short ram or cold air.. cuz if u take it off. its just gonna suck right outa the engine bay. but travel less distance to get to the motor..

lol do what u want... its all opinion i think

bluebomber85 05-24-2005 04:05 PM

new ignition and locks today.. :D

down_hill_dog 05-24-2005 06:10 PM

i guess eh, i think i'll just leave it all in. it was put there for a reason. and as for driver and tires.... when we raced it was a 2nd gear roll on. Shifts were at the same time, and we were DEAD even. do keep in mind your car has intake headder and exhaust and 100,000 less km's. My car is a 90 GS with leather, a/c, and then all the spare tire, jack and tools still in the car. Not to mention we had the same fuel level.... you have a nice car on your hands though treat her well. and stop running synthetic, that car HATES it. you can tell by the way it burns it
