The Jeweler offered me the PO 2500 for $4000 tax in.

PO 8500 was offered to me for $5500 after tax.

Do you think either one is a good deal?

My uncle got his PO 2500 slightly used/perfect condition for $2500.

If you're buying brand new, out of those two; value wise, the 8500 is a better deal, though I wouldn't necessarily say a good deal.

^ maybe you're finding that because it's the only one you wear?

I like having a few to rotate between so I can choose based on outfit/mood/ocassion/etc... I have a G-Shock in my rotation

Anyone looking for a watch from Timeco. I have a gift certificate of $310 i'm trying to get rid of. Let me know....

shadow86 01-07-2013 02:43 PM

Can anyone recommend me stores locally where I can buy a watch box? I'm looking for one to keep my watches in rather than have them sit on my shelves.

TIA

Anyone have a manual wound watch?
Are they annoying, as in always needing to whind it? Are they more fragile? Any cons to them? Perhaps needing to be brought for servicing?

Bought my first Victornox in the states. (What I count as a first "real" watch)

I love it and now my wrist simply feels complete. Sapphire crystal. Went with a rubber strap just to be practical.

Now, I wonder what other watches I will buy in the future?

Had the exact same watch when I first started out.
Sold it quickly because the readability suck. Looks good on the wrist though.

GFunk 01-11-2013 10:39 PM

Yeah readability is terrible especially at night when the lume doesn't really work that well. I love it for how it looks though

Can you guys please list off some reputable online watch stores? Preferably ones that you've personally bought from?

Not sure what exactly im looking for at this point.

shadow86 01-13-2013 08:04 PM

^ I've bought from nzwatches.com before

Happy with my purchase and would buy from again.

t8v6 01-14-2013 02:40 PM

Anyone ever bought watches from ebay sellers? Prices seem to be a lot more discounted on ebay but I'm not sure about the product quality or how trustworthy these sellers can be. Any of you guys have sellers on ebay to recommend?

unit 01-14-2013 03:15 PM

if they are a watch dealer on ebay then i wouldnt have a problem with it.
if they sold fakes then their feedback would have tons of negatives. fake watches are easy for people to spot, compared to fake clothing which people might not know the difference.
