Ham Ji Bak on Lonsdale. 10/10. Omurice FTW |
Red Door on Granville It wasn't a bad meal but it didn't wow me either. The Shanghai Street Noodles were excellent, but the spicy ginger beef was not spicy and overly sauced, and the Shaking Beef wasn't worth $25 a plate. Wonton soup was really good though. Overall it was hit or miss with most dishes. 7.5/10 |

7.5? How about a MINUS ONE FUCKING GIGAtastelikemonkeypissTRILLION? Worst. Place. Ever. Do not ever go there. Shit is retarded expensive and it tastes like ass. Fusion is already fucked as it is and the Red Door brings it to the next level. Red Door is right next to stone grill in my books. Might as well throw money at a hooker on hastings and hope for a better outcome. |
^^^ You won't see too many Asians there...that's a big red flag right there. |
BT Cafe 7/10 |

Flo Tea Room ^ Post is nearly 2 years old, so it's not totally relevant. Went tonight for a late dinner, mini set meals ($6.25 to $7.50~)+ $2.00 for bubble tea ..good deal imo. Had Szechuan Beef Noodle Soup, came with big chunks of beef brisket, lots of noodles and some choy, soup wasn't overly spicy. Ordered a Flo Special Calpis slush ($4.50 regular inc pearls/etc) 7.5/10 decent stuff. |

Any recommendations? And the place looks pretty small.. Is it actually a really small restaurant or is it just the street view that makes it look small? |

I can name a tons of restaurants way worse than this place. Not somewhere I would go back to anytime soon, but far from what you make it sound to be. |
i rarely go to fusion restaurants, but occasionally i'll enjoy "fake" food. |

most of the menus are a hit and miss. Depending on the day. Not very consistent. The omurice is always good though.. But i have relatively simple korean taste. Lol Posted via RS Mobile |
Went to Naam after enjoying the celebrations downtown Sam's Burger Platter. Miso gravy is addicting, so are those sesame fries. Salad was another small meal in itself, so I had that packed up. 8/10 |

Eddy's Pink Peppercorn near Knight and King ed 8.25/10 had the salmon, it was delish, has a lot of the old cannery employees but the prices were more reasonable |

tomakazu on broadway. all u can eat deluxe. surprisingly good this time.... 8/10 even good service! amazing from them |
Ebisu - 7.5/10. Service wasn't that attentive. Had to wave their asses down a few times to get their attention. But food was pretty solid. |
|
Cafeteria on Main 7/10 Had their duck confit - wasn't really feelin' it. Overcooked/dry and no real flavour. |

Red Wagon Tried their pulled pork benny - 9/10. Could've done without the hollandaise sauce. Eggs were poached to perfection. Pulled pork was excellent. Co-worker tried their pulled pork pancakes. Should've gone a little more easy on the syrup but oh well. 8.5/10 Service - 6/10. Hipster waitresses there don't give a shit and one of them gave us our bill after we ordered and thought we were done eating. Stood there waiting for about 10 minutes before they asked us for how many and took our name down. Kitchen staff earned themselves a well-deserved 10/10. |
