LOL @ hawks fans being "some of the best in the league" yea.. the best fans in the league always mass exodus with 3 minutes left in the game and Boo your team the final minute..

+1

You get 20K+ people drinking beer who don't know shit about any sport watch the "home team" win and you will have one loud building. Regardless.

Great game. Nice to see a full 60 minutes.

GO NUCKS!

Mananetwork 05-05-2009 07:01 PM

damn, seems like a lot of ppl missed the game cause it was early..

Man, the CLOSEST team to the Canucks is just as far or farther than 16 teams to the Penguins...

iPee 05-05-2009 07:34 PM

yah pretty surprised at how fast the game went only 2.5 hrs

yea no kidding, geographically it make more sense to have a team in seattle or portland or something.

i dont see a move happening, there would be a huge shake up in the divisions and conferences.

So, another team in Ontario?

Finally Balsille got his team!

I used to look forward to Coaches Corner, but his schtick is getting old. His comments are about as offensive as the clothes he wears.

Canucks need to go into Super Saiyan mode on Thursday. The Blackhawks are going to come out guns a blazing.

I hate Don Cherry, I'm not going to wish a Jammer on him but I hope he just quietly goes away.

Hondaracer 05-05-2009 08:17 PM

wtf.. never realized San Jose was north of the other cali teams.. always thought south

As for Cherry, besides mispronouncing names i thought it was a very good coaches corner tonight

Harvey Specter 05-05-2009 08:23 PM

I hope the NHL doesn't allow another NHL for Ontario. Like already mentioned in this thread, I would rather see a team in Seattle.

seakrait 05-05-2009 08:32 PM

so wtf happened to demitra?

Upper body injury..

Most likely a concussion.

Harvey Specter 05-05-2009 08:41 PM

Demitra went hard into the boards during game 2.

1exotic 05-05-2009 08:41 PM

Me too^ 3 NHL teams in Eastern Canada is way enough... Seattle would be interesting, but could care less.

Tonights game was good, I hope canucks win game 4 (3-1 series) because then we pretty much win the series.

My predictions, or at least i hope this is what will happen.

If canucks win this series...

Canucks vs Ducks - Conference finals
Canucks vs Carolina - Cup finals, I'm scared of Boston...

from game #2? huh. shit.

and how did pyatt play today on his first day back?

Hondaracer 05-05-2009 08:54 PM

he actually played pretty decent, a few mistakes due to fatigue but nothing glaring and he actually forced a couple turn overs

seakrait 05-05-2009 09:13 PM

^^^ cool... thanks.

anyone watching the ducks/wings game? wtf... detroit totally tied it. and on the replay, it sounded/looked like the whistle came after the puck crossed the line. why was that non-reviewable?

Gh0stRider 05-05-2009 09:17 PM

that was fucking bullshit. puck crossed the line after the whistle. stupid fucking ref

Harvey Specter 05-05-2009 09:17 PM

45 saves from Hiller, bloody unreal.

The whistle doesn't need to be blown for the play to be stopped, if the referee had the intention to have play be blown dead at that point, play is dead because it takes time for the ref to get their whistle up to their mouth and blow it.
