What type of style does a fantasy dragon fall under?
I also cant decide to either go with a theme and do a full back piece and have the dragon being the center of it or start it just above my elbow and up over my shoulder blade and come down the left side of my chest

Well an idea doesn't fall under a style, until you pick a certain style for it. I'd imagine that idea would look best as a new school/japanese piece. I think you should research some different tattoo artists in the city and check portfolios and try and picture how you would like it to look. Colour or no colour, realistic(as a dragon can be I suppose) or comic book-ish, big or small.

i spoke to gakkin via email and yah he will be at the fall on oct and strictly tatto on nov

My sleeves are in edmonton(my hometown) my ribs will be done in whistler, and my chest was done here in Van. I'm happy with all my work, and artists, and I get to go make a mini vacation out of it.

i spoke to cohen via email and he also said november is when he is booking for.

you should hit up one of the 3 artists below, mark, jesse, cohen. for a fantasy type dragon i'd probably go with mark actually.

i just booked with jesse for dec but that was only because i wanted a sat appt, he had open slots during the week for november.

not sure what mark's availability is and you already know cohen is booking for nov. i'd just wait and go with the artist you really like tbh.

I know this is probably a long shot, but has anyone ever been to Miami for a tattoo? Friend of mine who lives there is looking and no one seems to be able to help him find a good artist. So I said I'd ask if any of you guys had happened to travel that way to get one done or knew someone who had that had had a good experience.

If you guys aren't able to help me, do you happen to know where he can go to look for the info?

My uncle did mine so I'm sorta useless on that front lol

To the guy who is thinking about getting tattooed by Cohen Floch, Did you check out Jeremy Rileys work? I would much rather get tattooed by the master than the apprentice.

Sign up on the tattoodles.com forum and ask there once you know what style etc.
