I haven't played in a while and turned on my 360 to play..got the update and boyyy does the game take longer now because of all the penalties hahaha. I love the faceoff in opposition's zone when they take the penalty... overall, it made the game nice. NOW.. I just hope they fix the goalies diving/falling around and it should be great.. |
the curve shot glitch still works btw..just faced a team that does it like 3 times in the 1st period last night. |
I'm all for the interference calls, but to be honest, i used to take advantage of the lack of interference calls.... But i stick lift and poke check a lot and boy do I get owned...lol for the first few games, i averaged about 14 penalties a game...haha... But after some practice, I've gotten used to when I should be stick lifting and when i should just sit back. |
I love the new patch. They even added a new penalty, checking from behind, LOL |

I hope they really fix the goalie issue and make it tougher to score or something.. but atleast they are going in the right direction. Should be great for nhl '10 or ''11 as long as they don't do anything else but just add and make small changes. |
4 shutout streak going ... I've been really concentrating on my defense, getting ahead quick and then playing conservative, not making mistakes or allowing easy goals ... A couple of whiny kids accused me of cheating over the mic ... LOL Oh, and they released a roster update earlier this week, at least for PS3 ... |

It's a little on the sensitive side, but it's better than it was ... You couldn't pass in front of the net without getting creamed by a crosscheck (uncalled, of course) ... At least you can play some garbage goal hockey now ... |

anyone got any hints for aiming better? my guys are missing wide open nets or banging them off the post from deking and one timers not even pushing left analog all the way to the corners either.. does right analog matter? holding L2 for majority of shots as well. |

i hate the new patch lol. i can understand its annoying playing guys in ranked games who are dirty. but i miss being able to go around and flatten people left and right in be a player mode |
