I havent experienced these "pussies" but I know alot of people who have.

The only time I do that, is when the player I'm playing constantly tries the cheese plays over and over without doing anything else. It's payback.

I honestly do not do any of those cheap goals. I could care less about my record (64-30-8) as long as I get a good game going and recently, I've been having good games with ppl online.

What's with people quitting after I take an early lead by a couple goals? They are not cheap goals either. So dumb.

And what's the point of leaving the last minute just because your losing? I mean, you spent time playing the game and just can't wait 30 more seconds to finish it? lol. Accept the defeat, it's just a game hehe

Is there a bug in the game that can't be stopped? Because the only move i'd consider cheap is leaving the game before it's over.

I've played a lot of games online, and, sure you always get the guys that try to skate across the crease, or just close their eyes and take a slapper every chance they get, but i don't consider that "cheap". To me, a goal is a goal If you see them doing the same move over and over again, then you have nobody to blame but yourself for allowing them to do it every time. I mean...if the play works for them, why would they stop doing it? They are playing to win, too!

Bottom line: Adapt your play instead of crying fowl play.

It's not a bug.. just cheesy goals. I mean most of my defeats are from "normal" games and it's fun. I can choose to score these cheesy goals like circle the net and the goalie goes down and boom but I don't want to unless the guy keeps doing it..

Once I know they won't stop trying to do the same move then I will go ahead and score doing the move they are trying then once I get the lead, they will not score again cuz they will not touch the puck again.

Bottom line: If doing the same move over and over cuz it's a sure goal is fun for you then ya.. there will never ever be a perfect video game anyway... I prefer to win getting a deflection or something tho lol...

exactly. i just played a guy who was ranked 650, was up 4-1 when he d/c in the middle of the third. he tried to do the same side of the net slapshots, wraparound, and spin and make the goalie do down shots all the time. just adapt how you play defense and play more patient. don't use the stick lift to much and use poke check more.
he looked confused when he was on defense cuz i always did different things and scored my goals differently each time. don't play too predictably.

If you're allowing the guy to do the same move, how is that cheap? It CAN be stopped...it's not his fault you don't adapt your defense for his style of play.
For the guys that like to skate across the crease and wait for the goalie to go down, just stop him from doing it...I mean, it's not his fault you gave him a path to the front of the net. Do you really think there is ONE defensive strategy that will stop all goals? There is a reason why there are so many defensive and offensive strategies in the play book.

The people online play to win...not to entertain you. If you lose...admit that you got out-played and move on.

am i the only one here that doesnt know any secret cheap goals? even in 08 when EVERYONE did the skate across 20 feet out and shoot thru the defenders legs for a sure goal, i didnt even play that shot, ever.

i played one guy a few games ago that beat me 6-4. he had 8 shots and every shot was the same shot.


i was talking to a guy i work with about the BAP mode and he said if his player doesnt score a goal and his team win, he will quit the game and start over. he plays on rookie dificulty and said his player had 100 goals and like 20 assists in his first season and his team only lost 2 or 3 games. whats the point of playing that way? what are you trying to prove? at least make it somewhat realistic.

do you also notice that I don't chase people when they're behind the net ? alot of people online like doing that stupid behind the net to side goal where the goalie goes down. One game I was playing against one of those lamers the guy went back behind the net and i just stood there and he didnt move his guy for a good few minutes because he didnt know how to score any other way :haha: Majority of my goals are one timers and slot shots if I have room. I'll do that behind the goal to side move if the players allows me but that wont be my main focus like 99% of the people online.

LOL, this guy on X360 called MarcThedarc scored two side of the net cheese slappers with Zherdev. I'm like okay, you want to play like that? So I begin to use my arsenal of cheeses that I use against scum like him, and lets say that the Canucks beat the Rangers 5-2 with 5 unanswered goals before the Rangers threw in the towel ;)

Piece of scum ranked 35, made him drop to 42 and bounced me up to 229 :lol
